Scent is citrusy n fresh. Im not buying into all the diamond ion hype but I like the idea of antioxidants in this one. I was basically looking for somethig to remove the cakey effect. I use this over prep + prime transparent powder and it leaves skin looking dewy n "healthy glowing". Botomline first time I used it hubby said my MU looks good and even skintone. So no choice have to repurchase :) I even asked him to be specific and what part of MU looked good (I din want him saying lips/eyes) n he said ur skin looks more even n smooth. So there!

I have found exactly two pros about this product: it smells nice, and it feels nice on a hot day. Otherwise, it doesn't do much for me at all. To be honest, I'm looking forward to finishing it so I can B2M the bottle. Would never repurchase or recommend. Maybe it's just because I don't exactly know what it's for, but I notice no difference on my skin or makeup when I spray this. Not sure how I got suckered into buying this years ago.

I like how this doesn't have glycerin in it like the mac fix+ because that left my skin feeling a little sticky. I spray this as a setting mist for my msfn so my face doesn't look so powdery. I think it has a light citrus scent compared to the light blue charged water that had a plastic scent to it. Overall a good product but i wouldn't want to pay 20+ for citrus scented water.

I love the way it smells but that's about it. I don't have many uses for it. I don't notice a difference in my skin when using it. It does feel nice when refrigerated. I would not repurchase.

So I swapped for this little guy the other day and my fiance nearly died when I told him it was "Charged Water". I had been having some major problem in my T zone and my Wexler mositurizer wasnt helping, but my skin is too dry to use my mineral powder makeup just directly on skin. So this seemed like a good product to use to give light moisture to the skin that didnt irritate but helped my makeup bond to my skin. I just have to say that this product worked WONDERS for my skin.
My breakouts vanished. I used to get atleast one skin irritation (nice way of saying a zit) every week. After using the water my skin feels soft, hydrated, and healthy. I love the light moisture and how it doesnt sit on top of skin and crease makeup throughout the day. It doesnt smell like oranges like some of you desrcibed, more like light floral fragrance to me. I like this product but being it isnt available anymore I will need to use it sparingly.

I like this one better than the original Fix+. It provides just enough moisture to help give my make up that "flawless" look but it won't over moisturize and make me look like a greaseball. My only gripe is that it is a little expensive, but I would purchase again if I wasn't on a tight budget.

I bought it at a CCO thinking it would replace FIX+.
I don't like the smell (oranges), I use it before makeup it keeps my face fresh but personally i prefer FIX+. I got for around 15.00 dlls

I can't believe I bought into the hype about this product. "Ions of Diamonds" ?? Puhleeze!! Didn't do anything for my normal skin but I'm not sure what it was supposed to do. It does smell quite nice and I like the packaging but it's going back.

i love this stuff simply because its refreshing when you spray it on your face as a light moisturizer.. i love the scent (one of the reasons i prefer it over the fix +) and i use it to set my makeup... it is a bit pricey but i use it sparingly, and maybe every once in a while on a hot day to cool my face down

This stuff is something like fix+ but is fused with many other ingridients.I own both renewal defense and revitalizing energy.Truth to be told i have oily skin and i m not very pleased with those. They are very very very hydrating.I belive someone with dry skin will love charged waters.Sincerely if I use a good amount of those I can skip moisturizer. But on the other hand I thing they are good products because they have such good ingridients like antioxidants, vital ions from a diamond, green tea etc.And here is a secret.I spray it on my brush and I take mineralize skinfinish in warmed, and guys...... it goes on my cheeks like liquid silk..!!!!So have dry skin give it a try.Hve oily skin not so sure

Really not totally sure how this is different from Fix+ except that it's more expensive per ounce and the smell, but it's still really nice. I do like the smell, it's like an earthy green with citrus. The cooling sensation is also really nice. The fine mist really sets my makeup well and makes my powder finish look like skin, just like Fix and it's great to spray on your shadow and powder brushes to help get a good consistency, again, just like Fix. I'm glad I tried it out, but I'll prob just get Fix+ from now on, it's simple, effective and you get more for your money and it outperforms regular water sprays for me.

I didn't expect to like this product. My thoughts were "Why would I pay $20 to spray water on my face?" Well... its better than that.
The Good: It softens the look of powder foundation to make it look more natural. And when I get super oily around the 4 hour mark, I can spray the charged water and it refreshes my skin while resetting the makeup. The spray bottle can't be beat either. The product is delivered in a light mist. And it smells like oranges. Mmm.
The Bad: The product claims are a bit... extravagent.
In conclusion: I love this stuff for the refreshing and makeup setting properties and not the product claims. Give any charged water a chance.

I'd bought this during the re-release with the N Collection because I'd missed it when it first came out with the Sunstrip? Collection. I have to say that although this product doesn't really seem to "protect the skin from environmental aggression," it does work pretty well as a sort of light moisturizer. It also did a wonderful job for setting my makeup because it took away a lot of that "powdery" look, giving it sort of a dewiness. Unfortunately though, this product ended up giving me breakouts (even though it contains Salicylic Acid?) and I noticed that it also somehow enlarged the size of my pores? So needless to say, I'll been returning this product. I must give MAC props for the scent and spray bottle though, I love how the bottle gives a very fine mist instead of a splash of it, and the scent reminds me of Fruit Loops (although it's described as Grapefruit Mandarin)!

Being a huge fan of the original Fix +, I wanted to try all the new MAC Charged Waters. This one contains a mineral called rhododite which is supposed to energize and balance the skin. Like the Fix, this prepares the face for makeup, acts as a makeup finisher and gives the skin a boost. The scent is an oriental mandarin orangey one and is not at all cloying. I love how this makes my face look and feel, I just wish they gave you as much as the original Fix + which was 5 oz., now with the new packaging, you only get 3.4 oz. oh well, still a great find from MAC!
