-love the pump and packaging
-dries right into skin quickly without any residue
-i use right after toner and before moisturizer only at night as recommended.
-appears to help keep skin looking healthier or at least absorb the moisturizer better.
-would repurchase

This product seems to leave a film behind that causes my makeup to rub off looking like dead skin. It also dries very quickly and I have to use two pumps to cover my whole face because of the rapid pace that it dries. I have dry and sensitive skin, but am docking off stars because it seems to leave my skin feeling drier than before I applied the product. I use other Hyaluronic Acid products like the Hadalabo lotion, and Juju Aquamoist Cleanser. When I leave the product out of my routine my skin feels more moisturized in the morning. This may be more suitable for Combo and Oily skin.

My skin: Dry, sensitive, acne-prone, pale (~NC15), with redness in cheeks and T-zone. Easily irritated/allergy-prone.
I have previously used and finished Mandom Barrier Repair Concentrate Serum and decided to Juju Aquamoist a try after reading such awesome reviews, but unfortunately, this product did not work out for me. I found it made my skin itchy, red, and left a film (I tried to apply it in different ways and it still left a film). I had even taken some time off from the product and tried it again recently...only to be left with clogged pores and a couple underground pimples.
Needless to say, I will not use this product again, nor will I repurchase. I may go back to Mandom's Concentrate Serum though -- lightweight and slightly cheaper at $18 USD. I purchased Juju Aquamoist Essence at adambeauty for $20 USD.

I usually don't use up a product, but this is one of the few products that I have repurchased.
It's a bit expensive for a little bottle, but its worth it. I use this as a moisturizer in the morning, because it feels nice and light.
It would be nice if this had a little bit of oil control, but I know that's not the point of this product.
Doesn't break me out, and that is the major thing I look for in products.
Will repurchase in the future.

I've been using this for 2 months now and I'm so in awe. No mineral oil, no fragrance, no colour, no animal ingredients. And there are only 4 ingredients in it: Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol and Methylparaben.
After cleansing, I spray some Vichy thermal water on my face and then apply this essence. Sometimes I follow with a moisturizer (Avene Cicalfate), sometimes I skip that step.
At first this feels a bit sticky... like you're applying glue, but it sinks in completely so there is no residue left and the skin feels so incredibly firm and smooth, I just can't help myself but touching my face all the time.
Since I've started using this I noticed that my skin is less oily in the morning and became smoother generally. Also: this essence doesn't seem to be comedogenic at all, as I didn't notice any whiteheads or breakouts. I store the essence in my fridge by the way, to keep it cool and safe. And I love the blue heavy glas bottle.
Sure, this isn't any miracle-product, which will erase all your wrinkles, but it sure is a good prevention as it helps your skin maintaining it's moisture and hepls keeping it healthy.

Omg, i had this for almost a year... Used it initially, but didnt know how to make proper use of it. Picked it up recently again, and it works miracle!
the 2 permanent dry, sensitive and red patches on my cheeks disappeared within less than a week after I used this correctly, when using aloe vera gel on the dry patches didnt work!!

The number 1 item on my HG list. I started using this about 5 months ago. After toner and before my moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and am usually afraid of trying new products for fear of a break out. Luckily I did not break out from using this. It leaves my ultra skin soft in the morning. My skin is not as oily now so there's less need to blot midday. Just have to be careful with the packaging since my first bottle dropped of my sink counter and broke. It's a small bottle but lasts me about 3 months of daily use at night. I'm on my second bottle and have bought extra to give away as presents to friends. Very glad I found this before splurging 3X more on another essence that contained Hyaluronic Acid I was eying.

Well, I guess I'm the only one who hates this product. I admit that my skin feels so great when I put it on. However, the problem is, my skin doesn't absort it AT ALL. I washed my face during the morning and I could feel the essence was being washed off. I know probably it's my problem but I don't wanna waste my money on it anymore.

What's good about this product? It doesn't have any extra ingredients, comes in a handy pump bottle and takes care of your skin. What's bad about it? Nothing. The essence makes my skin feel super super soft and relaxed but it's NOT a miracle product. It won't make you look 10 years younger or get rid of those zits but it will help your skin feel better. I have high hopes for it in helping me get through rough winter weather.
Use it like it says on the packaging or otherwise you'll get a filmy feeling on your skin and your skin will feel dry. First cleanse, then pat some water on it, apply a pump of the essence and immediately apply your moisturiser after that. If your skin is dry or you won't apply a moisturiser after or you mix this with your moisturiser, it won't work well or even at all. Also, remember to store it in a cool place.
Finally I found a hyaluronic acid serum that doesn't contain weird perfume and unnecessary ingredients. Thumbs up!

I love this essence. Skin feels very smooth and is absolutely 0 weight. I have blemish prone and super sensitive skin, been breaking out with allergies/rash recently and skin can't tolerate any skincare at all. However, it's getting very dry since I'm not applying any moisturiser.
I decided to purchase this since it only contain about 3 or 4 ingredients. I started using just this alone after my cleanser, and now, my skin recovered after about 1 month. I have now started to add another whitening essence on top of this for more hydration. The only con is that those with very dry skin may find that it is not moisturising enough. In my opinion it's great for blemish and sensitive skin.
I will drop all my other products and just use this essence whenever my skin is unstable due to allergies or a breakout, then resume and slowly add back the rest when it recovers. I will continue to use this!

After using other hyaluronic products, I decided to give this a try as it had no alcohol, mineral oil, coloring or fragrance.
It is a gel that turns to liquid and absorbs very quickly. It is recommended for night use, but I see no problem with using it in the day provided it plays nicely with your sunscreen/makeup.
I started using Hada Labo's hyaluronic lotion (toner) and noticed my skin was retaining more moisture. I use one drop of this essence after Hada Labo, then follow with my regular moisturizer (neutrogena oil-free for combination skin). The essence creates a barrier to keep moisture in, and helps skin absorb whatever you put on top.
My skin feels super smooth and soft with this combination, and I feel that my skin texture has improved.
I have had no breakouts caused by these products on my sensitive skin as they don't contain any ingredients that irritate me.
Note that I also exfoliate regularly, as well exfoliated skin absorbs serums etc better.
While I do think this helps, I don't know if the extra step is absolutely necessary. I will finish up the bottle and update this review as needed. For now I am saying I will buy again.
Edit- Just wanted to add that I do not use this in summer or high humidity as it's too much moisture for my skin.

An update of the this product, the Aquamoist Whitening essence I picked up in April is not that great. I just finished a whole bottle, but I would have to say the original Aquamoist essence is the best. I just don't really see the Whitening essence evens out my freckles. It feels like an inferior product, which unfortunately is the case for many products that are model after the best seller. I am switching back to the original essence, which is cheaper than the whitening one anyway.

I got this product for all the positive reviews it had. I was using a similar HA essence before in a droplet form and I find that most HA essences are similar. This one is good because it doesn't contain any additives, preservatives, and oils that may be harmful to skin. I feel like sometimes if you have normal skin with occasional monthly breakouts and no big problems, a 'normal' moisturizer without all those fancy effects (ie. whitening, oil control, pore refining, etc.) can make your skin better than it ever was. Sometimes the culprit to your breakouts are those other additive ingredients used to do extra things to your skin. This is a really effective moisturizer that hasn't given me any breakouts since I started using it and I don't even need to worry about my skin being not sufficiently hydrated. The only qualm about this product that is that it does nothing to lighten sun spots and freckles and brighten and even skin tone...which usually my essences work to do...however it's a fair trade-off for having super clear skin.

I got the essesse/serum from SASA, it comes in a pump instead of the droplet. I use this after moisturising, to seal the moisture in the skin and act as a barrier to prevent moisture loss. I have oily skin, so after prolong use of this, I find that my skin is less oily (probably due to enough water in the face). So, I will definitely buy this AGAIN!
[edit] I bought this in Malaysia for RM99 and I found it in Melbourne for AUD59! What a bargain!

I really like this product, it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft and plump! I've been using it for 4+ months nightly. I apply 1.5 drop of this essence to my face after toner, gently patting it to aid absorption. It may feel sticky but once absorbed it's fine. I top it off with my usual moisturiser, and after half an hour i get really soft and plump skin! moisturiser on top of this essence is really necessary.
However, i would love it more if the hydrating effects are more lasting. I started with using it every night, then for a period of time i used it on alternate nights, but my skin didnt feel as good. It at most lasts 2 days.
Also, I got this essence online at around SGD25, it isnt available in Singapore where i live, so it's quite a headache to hunt for it! Other than that, i really love this. Would definitely repurchase.

I was in need of something to add moisture to my skin as my moisturiser wasnt up to it and I have such flakey and dehydrated skin. I bought the essence in HK, which was under 130HKD and I think thats a very reasonable price for a HA serum.
The essence is gel like liquid and one drop is enough for my entire face so a bottle will last a while. I made the mistake of using 2 big drops during the first week of usage, and found that I really didnt need that much. So now, nearly 4 weeks using the essence, I have about a quarter left in the bottle.
Once it goes onto the face, it does feel kinda stickey but after massaging it in, my face is smooth t touch and as others have said, its untraceable. However, I found that after using it for nearly 4 weeks, whilst my skin isnt AS dehydrated as before, it wont elimate the flakies.
At first, I liked the dropper as its very convenient and hygienic but soon found that when I put the dropper back into the bottle, I waste a bit of the essence from catching the dropper stick onto the sides of the bottle mouth, so have to be careful.
Even though it doesnt hydrate my skin as much as I would've wanted it to, I would continue using it
UPDATE- I've taken away 1 lippie as I quit using this serum about 2 weeks ago just to see if my skin will change and revert back to be EXTREMELY dry....and it hasnt. So in fact, the serum really has absolutely no effect on my skin whatsoever. Also, I have read that 100% pure HA might suck away the moisture from the skin if there isnt enough moisture in the air

i use 2 drops of this product after cleansing and before moisturizer (which is jojoba oil). this adds an extra boost of hydration, and the emollients in any moisturizer will seal it in. this product has made my skin so hydrated, smooth, and plump, all within one week. my skin feels incredible to the touch and makeup goes on much better. the texture is a light gel, and is very easy to distribute. it is not sticky at all. i also have acne-prone skin, and have no problems with this. the dropper packaging is sanitary and convenient. i bought this for about $18 from adambeauty. hyaluronic acid serums are readily available at most health stores in north america. they might be cheaper than this brand too.

I have combination skin, which is dehydrated & dry in the cheek & jaw bone area, and it is EXTREMELY frustrating in winter because I need a cream that moisturize but does not make my skin feel thick & greasy. This product is fantastic! I absolutely adore it. Only problem is I have to buy it ONLINE!
It's for dry skin, contains hyaluronic acid and comes with a dispenser which is nice and hygienic. It's supposed to be used only at night, and I've found it to work brilliantly with its accompanying cream.
It's not perfumed so it's great for sensitive skin.

I have been using this product for about a month and so far I really like it. The texture is a bit like glue but it sinks in very quickly and the next morning you can feel that your skin is very soft and plump. Excellent quality and cheap price! :)
