Ok well I got this product was given to me so idk how much it costs but I put it on my nails hoping for them to get stronger and last a long time. When I put this product on (mine is the white tip color) it was almost clear not white so I let that coat dry then added 2 more. I finally got it to be an even shade of white but it had bubbles and streaks in it they felt as thin as when the started so the whole instantly harder thing is a lie then by the time I went to bed most of it had done pealed off exspecialy around the tip. So I desided to put some more on that time it lasted about two days but it still had bubbles all in it

Also the product is very runny not thick at all it drys pretty fast though so that's a good thing do if I was to take the label of and put it in my nails I would just think it was sucky white nail polish

Excellent pink sheer for those french but not french manicure looks. The formula goes on evenly, is very shiny, and lasts well over a week if you keep up with a topcoat. Very classy and pretty, and saves me from wasting money at the salon. I've had many women ask me where I get my nails done....the answer is at my kitchen table or in my living room! Highly recommended.

This is a very sheer pale pink shade. It never became opaque, no matter how many coats I used. It adds more strength to the nails, I think, just as the Hard as Wraps Acrylic Gel base coat does, but it's not my favorite nail hardener. I prefer Nail Magic.

Perfect sheer, natural glossy - WAY better than the promanicure line from SH...I bought both this and the naked ambition and this is delightful - naked ambition is ugly/muddy and too streaky!

i put this on tonight. i am a sally hansen fan and i like this a lot. i chose it because the cold weather really wrecked my nails (well that and me being not as good as applying hand lotion as usual). my nails are peeling, dry, brittle. i filed them down and put two coats on this stuff on. it is really sheer, i am a big fan of essie sheers and i find this similar.. it adds gloss to it and i find this line does strenghten nails a tiny bit.. it certainly does not hurt!
it is professional, classy and glossy.. just a hint of pink and shine.

This product did nothing great for my nails. I had to apply 2 coats to get anything other than (admittedly pretty) shine. It really is no different in appearance from any milky sheer polish.
It really did nothing for my nails, but i don't have really horrible nails (mainly prone to breakage, but they grow fast and aren't bitten up or ruined in any way).
I guess i think that this is just your basic milky sheer polish...and then the 2nd coat took eons to harden/dry. I also had this odd "texture" that appeared when i first applied the polish. Not sure if that's the special ingredient(s) that make this polish "Hard as Wraps" but whatever it did was nothing special.
I paid under $5 for this (not on sale) at Target, so I don't think this is a very costly item, but it's also taking up valuable space in my polish collection, so it's not really worth it for me.

Great np! At first I was a lil skeptical to buy this because I don't like acrylic. Bad experience when I used to get those fake nails. It made my nail break easily. Anyway, this np is awesome. The color is almost opi cicc. Very sheer and nude. It dries quick and last a long time! I always use this for french mani and the outcome is superb. I don't really care for the strenghtening coz my nails are long and and strong. I top it off with sh insta-dri tc and mani last for two weeks.

I use Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps gloss in both Sheer Pink and Sheer Petal year round. The manicurists at the salons where I go for my manis and pedis (summer only for pedis) love it, too. It gives a very sophisticated, classy "finish" to my hands and toes. It's also perfect for French and American pedis. I usually have 2 coats done with Hard As Nails topcoat and the manicure lasts about 1.5 weeks. The pedicure lasts longer. I bought these 2 colors over a year ago, and still have more than 1/2 bottle of each and it's consistency has maintained (no thinner needed). Even if they do "thicken" up over this summer - I still think it was $10 well spent. This is a beautiful polish.

I love this stuff! I've been gravitating towards subtle, sheer nail colors recently (something about a well-applied sheer pink polish on well-manicured hands screams classy) and this nail polish is perfect. It goes on very even, keeps my nails from peeling or chipping, and even though it doesn't claim to be a super-long-lasting polish, it usually lasts me over a week without chipping. I'll be going back for the beige before my vacation because I'm quite sure that it won't chip the entire time I'm away, which is more than I can say for any other polish I've used, even long-wearing formulas.
Another plus is that this comes in 20 colors, while covering all the bases: clear, white tip, sheer pink, sheer beige, deep red, true red, coral, etc - I can definitely see myself picking up some more.

This is a great combination of a nail treatment and a polish. The application isn't quite as perfectly smooth as other polishes, but it is certainly adequate and the dry down finish is pretty and shiny.
What is amazing about Sally Hansen's Hard as Wraps is how it strengthened up my nails--they not only looked polished and pretty but became stronger and healthier. I got this in the sheer pink gloss which is a bit similar to OPI Cony Island Cotton Candy. I will definitely repurchase this and try other colors too.

I absolutely adore this product! The colour is just gorgeous - a nice light pink - and it makes my nails look very shiny and beautiful. I love how it looks so sheer and natural, too. Another plus side to this product is that it makes your nails hard so your nails don't chip as easily. The brush is excellent and doesn't leave streaks on my nails. It stays on your nails for a fairly long amount of time, too. I believe mine lasted for about a week or so and survived without any chips, thanks to the fact that it makes your nails so hard. This product is just love, love, love for me. A definite must-have!

LOVE this color! It's comparable to OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy. A nice warm sheer peachy pink. Makes your nails look lovely, elegant & very "done". Nice buy for the price. Wear is okay, usually 3-4 days with no chips *IF I use a good base/top coat. I do 2 coats with this... one looks too clear, three is too opaque... Will buy again if I'm in a pinch & can't get an OPI sheer.

Have tried everything on my dry brittle nails. Am allergic to artificial nails ...have tryed silk wraps, acrylic, gel etc and had to have them removed the next day. I bought this on a whim because I had a CVS coupon for it. Love it! I used only one coat and then followed with an OPI top coat, and Sally Hansen hard as nails top coat. That was on Monday and it is now saturday and its still on! This is a first! I usually use mademoselle in Esse or OPI nude, and they never last more than 3 days. Would definately buy this again and again. Found my HG for a natural shiny looking nail!

This is clear and very shiny with one coat, slightly more opaque with two (I can barely make out my fingertips). Excellent French mani-type color, quite natural color on me. It reminds me of OPI's Bubble Bath, but a little pinker/not so pale. Dries fairly quickly compared to other sheer polishes I've tried. Doesn't streak at all, even if you just slap it on.



The glossy shine does fade after it dries. It's still fairly shiny, but not as glossy as a topcoat. Lasting power is very good--this stayed on my nails for over a week without any chipping or wearing away at the tips. I think the color with two coats is just slightly too cool for me (I have quite yellow undertones), but one is nearly perfect. I'd love if SH came out with a slightly warmer/peach version of this polish. A bottle cost me 5.99 USD at Walgreens.



ETA: OK about 3.5 months go by and I have about half a bottle left, which seems good since I wear this color quite often. However, the polish has gone terribly goopy and thick and sticky, making it very, very difficult to apply. I tried adding some thinner but it didn't help. I've gone back to OPI's Samoan Sand and Coney Island Cotton Candy for this kind of sheer French mani color. This Sally Hansen stuff is not good quality.

this is my favorite polish. i love the color, and it makes my nails hard as rock.

the tiniest little bump of my nail against say, the desk makes my nail break, and with just one single coat of this stuff, i've been able to grow them out a good half an inch and they're still in one piece! LOVE IT.

Just tried this and LOVE it!

It has that sheer, translucent pink colour that everyone who gets manicures seems to have!

Went on SO SO SO smoothly, and dried very fast.... I'm the type of person who will always smudge my nail polish no matter what, and it didn't happen with this one.

Usually these light pink colours go on really streaky for me, but this one was foolproof... it would start off a little streaky and then blend together to perfection!!

For the price and the result, definitely a great buy.

What a find! Gorgeous sheer pink nail polish, slight shimmer. VERY natural, not alot of color so if you are looking for that steer clear of this. Goes on even and stays shiny and gorgeous for days even without a top coat. Keeps my nails from cracking or breaking (post baby, that happens!). I put it on and then I can forget about worrying about my nails for about 5-6 days - such a huge plus! Dries very quickly so you aren't spending half your day on your nails. If you are looking for an easy product that gives you a natural look, this is it. It's inexpensive and is just a fabulous product that delivers results. Definite repurchase!!!

This sheer pink is truly pretty....just the right tone for my cool medium/light skin tone. I've tried many, many sheer colors and this on is a keeper!! I usually have problems getting sheers to go on smoothly but this one has amazing leveling qualities. I would gladly pay more for this product if it came with the flat style brush. It also camouflages the ridges I have on my nails since removing my acrylics 5 months ago. It's not HG but definitely a "keeper".

The very first polishes I used as a pre-teen were SH. I remember using the clear version of this even before I began wearing colors. There was this and the pink gel tint, and that was it. So when I saw this I was excited to try it. I guess it's been around so long because it really works. I'm in a subtle-nail-look kick these days, and this is just rocking it for me. Plus it dries really quickly. I don't remember that. Maybe they improved the formula too.Great stuff for almost-dirt cheap.
