I think I like this better as a finishing spray for a hairstyle that doesn't really need hold. It doesn't feel crunchy or anything, but it is pretty matte. I don't want matte hair, I want shiny hair. This stuff is very flexible, I can run my fingers through it, it smells great, but as a hairspray its a no go for me. If I did buy it again it would only be for a light finishing spray NOT a hairspray. I'll stick to my Elnett.

I love the smell of this spray. Most hairsprays make me gag from their scent but this one is awesome. It holds okay but gives my hair a matte finish I don't like. Makes it feel drier than it is. But it's cheap and it works.

i got this a while ago and even tho its like not the best HG hairspray out there its perfect for me. i like my hair to stay soft and brushable but i like my bangs to stay in place (swoosh form) and i use this every morn and its just good for me. again not the HG but will do, have repurchased

Pretty good hairspray, but nothing spectacular that will make me want to repurchase. It smells pretty good, and lasts throughout the day. My curls hold up well with this hairspray, but you have to be careful not to use too much, cause it does get stiff. I love the packaging as well, very practical, but i prefer aerosol cans. That's really about it... its performance is average, and I generally don't have a big preference for hairspray, but nothing special about this hairspray will make me repurchase it. Worth a try, tho! :)

I quite like this hairspray but definately not my HG [I found my HG in Got2B Smooth operator]. To begin with, this stuff smells good for a normal hairspray. And it does have flexible hold. Def not something too strong but does the job. However, this doesnot keep down frizz which i wasnot happy with. So wont repurchase. however, for the price it is worth it. This product is not great. I have straight, flat hair that tends to look oily if I put the wrong product in it. The hold is so-so at best, and it left my hair feeling sticky and looking greasy and dull. The smell is nicer than other hairsprays I've tried. Overall, it's very underwhelming and I would not purchase again.

An okay product.It smells really good like most herbal essence stuff.cheap.But it didn't really hold down my frizz:(

I have the spray bottle version (not the aerosol) and I really love it! I don't like aerosol hairsprays as I find you waste more product and get it everywhere BUT on your hair!
Anyways, this doesn't give the greatest hold, for a girl like me that just wants a bit of hold to keep things in place, it works nicely. It smells like alcohol when you first spray it, but after it dries, it gives nice floral scent. I've gotten many compliments on the scent of my hair when I spray this in it!

This spray doesn't have the hold I was hoping for. I tried the Body Envy spray from Herbal Essences, and really didn't like the smell, and it was quite stiff. The smell of this was not offensive or strong to me, but my hair drooped quickly after I applied. It's not horrible, but not good enough. I won't buy it again.
The price is very reasonable, and they run BOGOF coupons quite often.

This hairspray has a wonderful scent - cactus flower and bamboo, yum! The packaging is fantastic with the adorable design and good spray. The nozzle doesn't get clogged like my favorite hairspray, Pantene Pro-V Classic flexible hairspray. However, this has a worse hold than the flexible Pantene hairspray. It's awfully sticky and crunchy and it's SO easy to make your hair look greasy because it's such a wide spray.

I loooove this hairspray! I have been using it for years and I just love it. I use it for my bangs, curls or just when I need something to hold my hair in place. It works great for my bangs when I want to have a Snooki poof! It's one of the best hairsprays out there for me! : ))

I was doing my hair in a French twist and bought this at Wal-Mart to set it. It was fantastic, not only on the hairdo in the back, but on my straightened bangs in the front. So I have started using hairspray for the first time in my life, just to keep my bangs in shape and freeze everything else into place. Smells great, works great. Love it.

Ugh this smells like rubbing alcohol right out of the bottle. The scent only has a hint of a nice floral scent, but everything is completely masked by how strong the alcohol scent is. It built up on my hair, had very little hold, and made my hair look SUPER greasy. Don't fall for the marketing and avoid this at all cost!!

I adore this hairspray. It gives me touchable, flexible hold. If you want tornado proof hold, this probably isn't the hairspray for you, but for my needs it works just fine! It doesn't smell like hairspray at all (which is a huge plus for me). It has that original Herbal Essences scent that I miss oh so much and the scent lasts all day. (Dear Clairol, please please please make this into a perfume!!!!) Aaand it only costs about $3. Can't be beat IMO :)

This hairspray is awful. The only good thing about it is the pretty smell. Other than that it's like spraying water on your hair.... no hold whatsoever.

ahhh i love this scent! i didn't know any of the new herbal essences products still smelled like this. the hairspray gives nice hold, not stick stiff and not too flexible. the only thing i would change is the sprayer, which is why i gave it 4 for "packaging quality". it sprays very hard and fast, so i hold it far away and spray in little bursts.

I can take or leave the scent of this hairspray, and yet the scent is what promoted me to review this. I say that because every single time I use this hairspray my husband comments on how nice I smell. I noticed a pattern but it wasn't until one day after I had used nothing scented at all, except this hairspray, that I confirmed it. I then started to pay attention and sure enough, every time I used this--even hours later--he would compliment me. I thought, how odd, it's hairspray LOL I can't even begin to describe the scent as I have no idea what cactus flower is suppose to smell like--so I guess it smells like cactus flower:)
However, it does perform well and that is my personal favorite part. I love how it doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or sticky, but rather just holds the curls memory. It particularly works well when I barrel curl my hair, but also works if I use velcro rollers and set it with this hair spray afterwards. I just noticed my curls last the entire day with the barrel rolling method; It seems to hold the curl shape tighter. Either way though, this is the only hairspray I've used that both holds my curl and still leaves my hair feeling like I don't have anything in it at all.
Also, my teen daughter ran out of this hairspray so I bought her something else and a bottle of this for myself. Hers was a more expensive spray and not a day later I found her in my bathroom using this one LOL:) I thought that was a testament to this product since she needs her hairspray to work even harder with her schedule, than I do.
About the only thing I would change about this product is I would have it mist finer. But it hasn't affected the performance of this product at all (for me) so I am ok with that part. In a perfect product though, I would tweak that to make this even better than it already is. I guess that comes with the pump bottle territory though. If you are used to aerosol sprays, this might take some getting used to, but if you are used to a pump style spray, it works just about as well as any I have tried.

i'll only buy it again cause i love the smell.
flakes my hair a little though, so maybe i'll mist it up in the air and walk through it to see if my hair catches the scent.
has a flexible hold, but don't apply too much on one spot or it'll get hard. really hard.

Great scent. Leaves my hair really shiny and holds my curls. If I use too much my hair does get crunchy, but you just have to use a little bit at a time and your hair will be great.

I can't stand the smell. It is really strong. When it is sprayed, it doesn't spread out so it is concentrated in one area and makes the hair hard and you can see the chunks. I wouldn't buy this ever again.
