I've never had a whole lot of luck with drugstore foundations besides the occasional Revlon gem. I generally stick with ELDW, MUFE, Stila, etc. but I've been on a drugstore make up kick (trying to do away with spending craploads of money on ineffective HE stuff). I picked some of this up on a whim, since I'm a sucker for pressed powder foundations. They just look so damn convenient and neat...and they've almost never worked for me. This is one of the few that I've worn more than a couple of times. It gives me a great airbrushed look, has medium to full coverage, and doesn't leave that nasty powdery finish behind. I apply with a kabuki and buff well. Try spritzing your kabuki with water for fuller coverage. Shine control is merely average for me, but I've got the shiniest face for miles even with ELDW, so it probably will do the trick for you. It applies very well over silicone based primers or bare skin, doesn't accentuate flakes, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. In other words, it's a perfect everyday or natural look foundation. I set with UD All Nighter for a my skin but much, much, much better look.
For reference, I'm an NC25 and wear this in Nude 40. It's a pretty good match.

Age: 18 & Under Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Blond, Straight Eyes: Blue
Overall Rating: 4/5
SKIN BACKGROUND: Oily, acne prone, SUPER sensitive, mild scarring and discoloration, beige skin with dominant yellow undertones.
PRICE: $7-$10 US Dollars, which is a good price for DS foundations.
COVERAGE: Light-Medium, I find it to be quite buildable.
FINISH: Semi-matte with a slight sheen that most mineral makeups give. I find the finish very natural and quite lovely :)
TEXTURE: Soft, seems finely milled.
SCENT: None
SPF: Yes, 20
LASTING POWER: This lasts all day on me. I have never had a problem with it breaking down, or getting excessively oily. It will fade slightly as the day goes on, but not to the point where it is completely gone.
SHADES: I usually get this in "Nude". They really need more shades in this foundation, the darkest shade is not NEARLY deep enough.
DID THIS BREAK ME OUT?: Nope, has a very gently formula, as it claims.
PACKAGING: I dont like the packaging. I wish they would skip the bulky compact packaging and put more product in instead, because I find that I run out it in less than a month.
WOULD I REPURCHASE?: Yes, when I have better skin I dont need to use as much to get the coverage I want.
FINAL VERDICT: This is a really great DS mineral makeup. Try it out!

Not a huge fan of this powder, it is too powdery, which obviously... it's a powder! But I have found powders, like the Milani Multitask powder (my current fav) which look much more natural. Especially considering how light the coverage is, this foundation looks WAY too fake. So yea... this just really wasn't a good powder for me :(

Great foundation. Not blotchy and very easy to apply. If I didn't know how good it is I and based on packaging I would never buy. Packaging looks cheesy and unprofessional. Price is less than ten dollars which is pretty hard to beat.

I use this for setting my foundation or BB cream. Good product, I just wish the packaging was less tacky, but let's be realistic - not going to happen for the price.
I will repurchase.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. My face is oily/combination & very acne prone. I use Revlon Colorstay Foundation (330 Natural Tan) and I carry the Neutrogena Mineral Pressed Powder Foundation (70 Honey Beige) in my bag to touch up my makeup throughout the day. It makes my skin smooth and hides my pores!
If I am just running errands during the day, I will use this product by itself. It gives me a nice light coverage & matte finish. HOWEVER, it does not last very long on my oily skin lol which is why I prefer to use it to touch up my makeup.
It has never broke me out (knock on wood) and I have very sensitive skin as well. Love this product overall, except I don't think they have a wide range of color selection though.

I have oily skin and have yet to find a foundation that has "all day" coverage. This mineral foundation though does really well for sheer to medium coverage even with having to blot from oily skin during the day. Also is one that did not cause any breakouts or disturbances with my skin. I would definitly buy it again.

This product causes pimples. I have acne prone skin, the first day I used it, everything was great, great coverage. But by the 2nd day I started to break out and got blemishes. I noticed that this product does clog pores which causes pimples. Overall, it's a great product for someone who does not have large pores or acne prone skin.

A nice light foundation. I have pretty much given up on liquid foundation. It's summer now, and I hate looking cakey and overdone. I have sensitive combination skin that's prone to breakouts ( yes, still lol ) and needs to breathe. This foundation leaves a nice smooth finish that evens skin tone without clogging the pores or looking like a mask. The coverage is sheer to moderate, and it looks very natural. In the past I used this as a powder on top of my foundation, but it was too much makeup, and the layering gives a heavy effect, so now I just use concealer where I need to and put this on top.

Finally!! I found a drugstore foundation that doesn't irritate or break out my sensitive skin. They're are so many things I love about this foundation. Neutrogena has the best ivory shade for my skin tone. It's not too pink or orange! I choose natural ivory which matches my skin perfectly. I also choose the pressed powder over the loose because it's more clean and easier to carry with you. I don't use the sponge that comes with this because I find a kubuki works much better. I love the amount of coverage this powder gives without looking cakey or dry. It covers all my imperfections and leaves my skin glowing but NOT sparkly!! I love the healthy glow look but hate the metal flakes companies put in foundations to achieve the "look" of glowing skin. That's what I love about this mineral powder it doesn't have any sparkle to it yet it still gives that healthy glow everyone wants. It also doesn't make your face oily or shiny, it makes your face feel velvety smooth and doesn't dry out your skin. I don't like to through HG around but I think this is it!!***** :EDIT: *****After using this a few times I had a horrible reaction to it!!! It made my skin very itchy! I also noticed the color oxidizes horribly! By the end of the day my face is orange and peachy! Oh well I guess the search goes on :-(

This is my first time trying a mineral powder foundation, and so far I'm happy with this product. My skin tends to be kind of dry, so I was a bit concerned this might emphasize fine lines and wrinkles, but so far this has not been the case. The product also does not irritate my skin which is a problem with some products. I do like the coverage, and at this point would buy again in the future. I was looking for a non-liquid foundation for when I travel, and so far this one is working well.

I love this! I bought the Clinique version of this and recently went back to the neutrogena powder foundation. The Neutrogena one is just better. It mimics my natural skin, makes it luminous and just perfects it effortlessly. And, it's way cheaper than Clinique! LOVE IT!
I am loyal to the Neutrogena mineral pressed powder foundation now after straying temporarily. :)

We were going great for a few days, and then the breakouts came. Also, I had to reapply a lot and it felt a little itchy and weird...but it looked so clean and nice. Bummer.

i got this about two yrs ago in an oprah gift bag. it was full sized and i still have plenty left because i only use it on one small area of my face. that said, it plays an important role in how i look imo; i have a really noticeable vein alongside one eye. its actually very greenish, and nothing but nothing covered it well before. i found that only mineral mu does, but i cannot tolerate it on the rest of my face, nor do i like the look of it elsewhere. cream concealers, liquid ones, graftobian foundation to dermablend, none covered the color of that darned vein!
this stuff doesn't totally either, however, for whatever reason, it covers it more than others and the texture next to my eye does not bring attention to the area, look odd there, plus it lasts all day. so for those who have a similar issue, this could really help. gonna stick with this instead, at least till i find something even better.

I've been using this for about a week now and I like it. I have combo skin and this works fine for both my dry and oily area. The first time I used this I did a test. I brushed it over my bare face and promptly did my Tae bo work out. After sweating through a 30 minute workout, this sucker was still on my face! I couldn't believe it. The shade matched my skin color very well and I have a hard time finding a foundation that does because I'm a darker Filipina.
I'm only gripe, I HATE how the mirror is under the power. Very annoying when applying to have to flip back and forth. I have now idea who thought that would be a good idea. To me it seems like this would make it more prone to breaking/cracking the powder with all the flipping! I also wish it came with a brush instead of a sponge.
Overall I like it, in fact, I plan on buying another one tomorrow to keep in my purse!

I use this everyday to even out my skintone on top of MAC's Studio finish concealer. Works well and makes my skin look healthy and even toned! I apply using a kabuki & it works perf! I couldn't think of anything to deduct a lippie on. For drugstore it's on the expensive side-- around $14, but I'm willing to pay that much!

I picked this up at Target the other day after throwing out all my old, used up foundations. This was pretty much the only powder foundation left in the store that I hadn't already tried, and I had a $3 off coupon so I figured I'd try it. Deciding which shade to buy was really difficult, but I ended up going with 04, which to my surprise, was a very close match. When I used it for the first time, I was a little annoyed by the compact. It's very similar to Physician's Formula compacts, where the top half opens to a powder pan, which also lifts up to reveal a mirror on the underside and a puff. Trying to do touch-ups with a mirror underneath the powder is not easy. The puff it came with is nice, but I found that the powder applied better with my EcoTools kabuki. This powder, for being called a "powder foundation", hardly offers any coverage. I don't really need much, all I'm trying to cover is a little red in my cheeks and some old acne scarring, but I had to cake this on to achieve any coverage at all. The staying power isn't good at all, by the end of my shift it had completely disappeared. I remember reading a review claiming that this was identical to Maybelline's Dream Matte Powder, and surprisingly, it is. Overall I wouldn't buy this again, and hopefully I can return this one.

Really really like. I'm still pretty young so I don't want to start wearing heavy liquid makeup. After returning L'Oreal's Bare Naturale, I was looking for a light powder foundation just to set my concealer. I decided on this, figuring if I didn't like it I could easily return it. First thing I liked, a really close color match. For reference, I'm an NC25-30 and I got it in 40 Nude. It had pretty light/natural looking coverage, which in my opinion is a good thing. I hate feeling like I'm wearing a mask, this feels like my skin. I have relatively clear skin, and have occasional break outs, i have a little redness/discoloration on my nose and chin, but nothing really else. This did a good job of evening my skin tone. I pray this doesn't break me out. Only cons are the package isn't that pretty and it can enhance your dry patches. Other than that, I would buy again.
