This is a Warm sheer pink. I bought this off of Greedbay. Although I do like it, it is not an HG for my NC30 skintone. I pair it with any natural liner. Also, It wears off quite quickly. I would recommend Mac Lazy Day lipstick as a close match (LD has more cool under tone) with a dab of Jazzed in the middle.

I really like this. At first, I thought this was going to be too mod-ish pinky nude for me...but it warms up nicely on me, and becomes just a nice neutral pinky nude.

I love MAC lustre lipsticks - that's my fave.

What I think I like most about this is that it can look great with both a neutral look, or with a smokey look.

And on an NC20 - this really makes you look tan! I have just a bit of bronzer, and liner on and with this - it looks so nice! And for spring - definitely a nice pick-me-up.

Yummy! I have 3 backups of this lippie because I love it so much! Is the perfect pinky-nude for me (NC25), and even though it doesn't last for very long, it looks great when it's worn off too, there's always a stain from it on my lips :)
Perfect shade, I wish it wasn't LE, although Hue is a nice alternative to this IMO :)

Limited edition color found at a CCO. I tried many MAC "nudes" and originally went with the color "hue" which had plenty of pink in it to keep me from being washed out. I'm half asian-half caucasian so not only am I SUPER yellow, my "whiteness" makes my yellowness more pronounced and I tend to look pale while often looking yellower than full-blooded asians (sounds unlikely but true). This is even better and more of a peach-pink nude as opposed to just really pink and (I've never owned freckletone BUT) I believe if freckletone or the like and hue had a baby it would be 3N. After using hue which is a glaze and wears off pretty fast, I was pleasantly surprised that 3N (a lustre) lasted as long as it did. My lips also didn't seem to get as dried out after the lipstick wore off as they tend to do after I wear hue. 3N doesn't seem to wash me out. If I feel that a color does, I just put some gloss on with it and it immediately brings life back to lips. I might have to find a way to drive all the way back to the CCO for this one...

I lucked up and found this at a CCO. I wish this was a perm color. It is one of my favorite lippies. It can be worn with about anything.

Gorgeous nude pink! I can wear this on a daily basis. I think it gives an clean, innocent, girlish look. I would definitely buy this again, unfortunately it was LE.

The only thing is, make sure you have moisturized lips!

Ah.... It looked so pretty in the tube....
But didn't work on my pale yellow asian skin and highly pigmented lips.... I look sick wearing this color and the lipstick itself dried up my lips. I have to scrub scrub and put on tons of moisturizing lip balm the night before using this lipstick. too much work. I don't ever have to do that to wear my dior lipstick. Putting on a bit of clear lipgloss works but that's also extra work. again I don't have to do that with dior lipsticks.....I wanted to love this but this didn't work for me....

Another limited edition MAC lipstick that I'm desperately trying to stockpile. 3N was part of the limited "N collection" .. and while I found most of that collection pretty boring ot me, 3N lipstick was a homerun for me! It's a beautiful peachy nude that has enough color for my pigmented lips, but not so much that I look washed out. It's a lustre finish, which I typically don't favor because of the short lifespan on my lips, but 3N for some reason seems to have less "slip" than some of my other lustres. It's the perfect nude lipstick for my MMM/NC42 skintone. The perfect lippie to pair with smokey eyes .. still trying to find a few backups of this pretty .. so until I do, I'm using this one sparingly.

Wonderful peachy pink nude. Very creamy formula, decent staying power, no shimmer or glitter. Just a great LBB shade. LOVE this!

3N looked so pretty in the tube. A light peachy nude. It goes on very smooth and looks great with smoky eyes, or a light neutral look. I liked how it covered my pigmented lips, but mid-day my lips felt dry and it didn't cover up my lips for that long. This would look great on girls with lighter pigmented lips.

Oh my god! I just realized that I never reviewed this! This is my favorite MAC lipstick of all time. I never bought this when the original N collection came out but when I read up on it I knew I had to have it. It's the best nude lip ever. Alone or paired with a gloss any gloss you like. I can pair it with almost any gloss and make it lighter or darker., more pink or more peach/coral. This is HG. I bought plenty of backups and I hope they last me forever :p

This is the best nude colour on my lips (that I have tried). I tend to stay away from nude lipsticks that have too much beige/yellow as they totally clash against my skin. 3N has a bit of pink in it and it's my no brainer nude lippie.

I would buy again if this were to be promoted!

i have almost no pigment in my lips..and on my lips this is a milky light pink bording on white if i'm not careful. it's not an ugly color..it's a pretty nice nude color for smoky eyes. but i've heard so much hype about this lipstick that i expected something amazing. it's an ok color..not the best nude i've ever had. thank goodness i didn't pay $30 on ebay. cuz it so is not worth it! there are better nudes out there! doesn't stay very long on the lips either. will keep it since it took me forever to get this. but i really don't think this is anything spectacular. nc25-30

I have medium colored skin and i love this color
it never turns washed out on me or too nude.
its texture is really soft and easy to apply i never have to put much on which is probably why i ahvent finished a tube yet though i wear it often.
I prefer it when i wear brighter colors on my eyes or just cat eye, but with a darker eye it can be nice too i just dont prefer it.
Will always want 3n in my collection!

I bought this without much thinking due to the hype following the N Collection and this lipstick in particular and I tried to make it work but sadly, I can't. It makes me look either as a corpse ( when the rest of MU is subtle) or as a cheap 80s star ( when paired with a strong eye). I believe the milky/pale undertone is to blame as it clashes with my warm colouring. The only way to wear this is to pair it with a lipgloss that will give it a different (warmer) tone.

I love this pink, since it came out i've gone thru two (!!!!yes 2!!!) tubes of this (sorry, i snack and drink a lot of water -FL is very hot ! And coffee!! what? heat makes people tired-yes? LOL) - but two days ago my last stump of it remaining made go to MAC and find something to replace it with- My closest match and i personally think it's a perfect dupe is this:

BLANKETY (amplified)+ HUE( glaze) = 3N lippy= <3 <3 <3

It gives it the perfect beige(blankety) & lustrous pinky sheen (from the HUE glaze), one downfall is obviously one has to carry two lippies around, but i think it's worth it :) extra tip: blend lippies into a little retractable lipbrush and apply !

I like this lipstick, it is very pretty and natural, but because I have really dark pink rosy lips naturally, I find it doesn't really stay true to colour on me,but I like it all the same. It is milky pink, and on my lips is a sheer wash of colour, very very natual and lush and it also looks a lot better when I blank out the colour in my lips with foundation before applying the colour. I am hoping to be able to get my hands on another one if I can, being such a huge fan of nude coloured lipsticks.

I amazingly was able to find this at the MAC counter two whole months after the collection came out [I thought this was SO/HTF!]. I snatched it up and have been using it ever since. I like the colour in the tube. I like how it looks on my lips right after I apply it, but before I move my lips around. Its a nice cream. It looks like the Amplified formula. However, when I talk or move my lips/rub them together, the lipstick kinda disappears into the lines in my lips. Then after maybe 30 mins the pigment basically goes away and it looks like a gloss....only not as shiny. I really hate that about this, but I still use it when I need a good nude lip.

Milky-nude-pink colour....which is so pretty. If you're looking for nude lips like kim k or j-lo which is paired with smokey eyes.go for this one!this lipstck make a bit different than any nude lips.cause this gives you a little bit pink colour in it not a zombie look though.....no need to add lipgloss it's moistured enough...might apply balm before l/s though.i won't be repurchase b'coz it's LE and if i ever run out of this.I be goin for angel/hue....it'll give me the same nude for smokey eyes....overall for my fair skin it's a sweet colour.nice, just ok not amazing.

I'm still deciding on whether I like or love this lipstick. I'm still glad its part of my collection though. I think I may prefer the 4N as I really like the look of that one. Although I dont own 4n and I've never tried it on, I've only read reviews on it.

3N is a light nude pinky colour with no shimmer. I really like it when I mix it with another colour for example pinks. 3N is descibed as a light nude pinkish colour. But on my medium pigmented lips is doesnt look like that. I wish it would show up a bit more nude pinkish, so I find that if I mix a little pink in it, it looks a lot better. I think I should try a good mac lip liner with this. I think that could make all the difference.
