Peachy champaigne color with a little shimmer. I quite like these. I have several. They can be used as a shadow base or on their own. They do not crease or smudge once they're set. I don't know if they're waterproof or not. Super concentrated too. So you don't need to use a lot at all, and they last forever.

I mainly use this as an e/s base and I think this is very good. The texture is that of a light, slightly emollient mouse. The product squeezes out of a very small tube and I don't really have a problem getting out the perfect amount I want. I prefer this type of packaging for travel purposes b/c it doesn't add extra bulk to the product and is basically as compact as possible. Spreading it across the lid is effortless. The product does set but there's enough time to work the product, not that you have to work hard at all. Against my skin (NC30), this is slightly lighter and a bit brightening. The product has medium coverage, which evens out any pigmentation on my lids and like I said, brightens the area a bit, which I enjoy. The finish is by and large matte with sparse shimmer particles that don't come through too much. I have very oily skin and I get about 6 hours before it creases minimally. I do make sure to spread the product extra thin on the very inner corner crease of the eye. It does increase the intensity of the shadow applied over it. I would say comparable to UPDD but easier to apply since it is more emollient but slightly less crease proof since UPDD is dryer. But, shadows look more vibrant over Secrative than UPDD.

I've never tried a mac paint, but i certainly hope its better than this. It is not easy to blend at all, and it looks chalky & weird on my eyelid. Maybe it's because I'm more of a medium skin tone, and this might work on lighter skin tones...I don't know. But it definitely didn't work for me.

As I read the other comments, i have to say that people are so silly. A lot were complaining about how to open the tube. HELLO, just flip the cap over and there is a tiny "spike" to poke into the tube opening. At least mine is like that. And if not, then a toothpick will work.. i mean, a fork? come on, no wonder you had a mess.
I really like this stuff and use it under my eyeshadow every time i wear makeup. I have creasing only after i have worn it the entire day, im talking about 8+ hours or more.. i do think it is a little drying, but when worn over my eye cream its fine.
a little goes a long way and i dont understand why its so hard to apply or to judge how much you will need. little at the time folks. like with most makeup products, you need to build up the coverage, not plop it all on at once. I just apply it with my fingers and no big deal. But to each his own.
i think this might be discontinued because of other reviewers, but if it isnt, please take into consideration common sense when purchasing ;)

This is a really nice neutral-slightly shimmery base for my eyeshadows. It feels so creamy and I only need the tiniest bit to cover my entire eyelid. It provides a great base for my neutral eyeshadows. Most of the other reviewers have said everything I've wanted to say. However, this did only last a few hours on my very oily lids before creasing. It makes it kind of annoying since I have to apply a primer first since I prefer to use this when I'm in a hurry. However, if I'm just out running errands, this is a great base!

I use this almost every day as a base. It is a shimmery yellow-beige color. It helps shadows last all day and even looks great on its own as a wash.

I bought this in the clearance bin at London Drugs for about $5 or $6. I bought it because I was really interested in the MAC Paints, especially the more shimmery, lighter toned ones, and I found that this was a great dupe.
Once I opened the container (a very sturdy, thick plastic thing, which contains the fairly large tube of product, a small synthetic fiber brush, and a "custom application well"), it took me a good five minutes to figure out that I had to puncture the metal lid. I grabbed a fork, expecting to make a neat little hole where the product could be squeezed out easily. Boy, was I wrong!! Once I punctured it, the stuff oozed out! I mean it really did ooze. Only now, after I've used it almost ten times, has the product stopped oozing out with way more product than I can reasonably use.
Despite that, this is a very shimmery light color, which matches my skin tone, so I can use it as a base on my eyelids or alone to give it a more luminous look.
I have used it several times without my UDPP as an eye primer to prevent creasing, and I think it still does a fairly good job of prevent my eyelids from getting oily, and it also doesn't crease.
The brush it comes with works surprisingly well. It is fairly soft, but dense enough to pick up the product. I use it to apply the cream shadow because it works well, and it is so much easier to designate that one brush to only one shade, as opposed to many and have to constantly wash it.
I'm happy that I got it on clearance, because, I usually do my research by reading reviews online, then I buy the cheap yet quality makeup. I'm not sure if I would have purchased it, had it been regular price (probably around $12-$15). I recommend this for someone with a fair to light skin tone who wants to wear a long-lasting subtle colour alone, or for someone who wants to use it as a base for more pigmented shades.

The first time I used this I used it as a base for the HIP metallic eyeshadow duo in Magnetic (a great set btw), and I did not have any creasing or fading, even after 8 hours. So in that regard, this is great. However I did not like the texture of my lids after the cream dried. They felt a little rough, and I had a bit of trouble blending colors over it. I did like the shimmer in the color, but I don't think I'd ever wear this alone, it's a bit too pale for my skin tone. I applied with the included brush, which was okay, but next time I will be using my fingertips instead.

Personally I prefer my UDPP, but this is a decent primer/base. I'm not opposed to purchasing other colors, but only in a BOGO type sale.

Beatuful shimmering pearly champagne color. I use as an all over color and under the brow. With this product a little goes a long way. Dont apply too much, one thin layer is all ya need. This stuff stays on all day long. Definately give these products a try.

I'm surprised this product got less than a 4.0 rating.
First off, this type of cream product is meant to be used in minimal portions, not so much to get the color to show up.
I like this color b/c it's good for any look, I own Steely (a dark metallic gray) and Lofty (a shimmery champagne) and I love them both. They serve as great bases, no creasing after 8 hours. The only bad thing I would say about this is that it might make your lids look textured, seems to emphasize the fine line patterns (if that makes sense) in your skin, making your skin look older. But all in all, I LOVE this product, and I got all three of these off clearance at CVS for $2.99 each. Check your local CVS for these! I definitely recommend them if you can't afford higher end primers such as Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance, or even MAC Paint or MAC Paint Pot.
I wouldn't buy it again b/c I don't think I'll be able to use this up in a short amount of time & by then I could probably afford the higher end primers.

This did not last long on my lids and I did not find it an effective base. The brush and the plastic box were a waste of packaging. There's not really that much product.

I sometimes use this as an eyeshadow base/primer when I'm too lazy to apply my UDPP. It's not UDPP, but it does last surprisingly long before it creases. It's not too pigmented and has a nice, frosty shimmer to it.
The only con I can think of is that it doesn't apply well with a brush... I just blend it with my fingertip.

I picked this up on a whim because I ran out of Clinique Touch Base and I will never go back to anything else as an e/s base! This is a soft, creamy, light beige with very faint shimmer in it. After I'm done with my face mu I use a dab of this all over my lids and a bit on my bottom lid, using my finger. I use this every day because it goes with any color eye mu. It's also great if you're in a rush because you don't need to be precise with this color. It blends nicely for me, although you have to do it kind of quickly because it does dry fast. I wear a smokey eye every day and this is the perfect "canvas" to work on. I swear that with this my eye mu looks fresh all day, and usually I have my mu on for at least 12 hours. There is no creasing or smudging, and this is great for your lower lids where it is always trickier to keep your mu looking nice. Also, my lids are kind of oily and this keeps everything in check. It is a bit on the pricier side for DS but I wouldn't say a MAC paint works any better than this, unless you're looking for a wider color selection. It's worth it for me because I use it every day and I use up the entire tube. I think I'm on my 3rd now. I don't really have any complaints about the packaging but I did take off one lippie because you have to be very careful of dispensing too much from the tube. BTW the other colors of this are great too, I have the dark brown one and the black one for when I want a really dark dramatic look.

I had been wanting cream eyeshadow for awhile. This stuff is great. Even without primer, this last all day without creasing. This is a great nude/champagne shade
NOTE: I would recommend unfolding the end of the tube before opening to avoid having a bunch come out as soon as you break the seal

I got this for about $3 on sale in Walgreens - Jackson, MS. It said 'discontinued' and now I see why.
This is pretty hard to get out of the small tube without removing too much. And you cannot just leave any excess product inside the tray because it just dries rock solid, not even astringent could take it off. Aside from that, the colour is pretty nice, but it has little to no staying power, it creases even underneath smashbox eye primer and I wouldn't have paid full price for this. The brush is good for concealer though.

I am wondering about why the reviews are so positive for this product. It is expensive for a drugstore product. I haven't ever tried mac paint, but judging from this product, I hope the mac one is better. I don't know how you are supposed to open this, I punctured the top and lots of product comes spilling out, what do you do with it all? Wasted product. It look matte on your eyes, hard to blend, I got it all over my hands and it was like, glittery and hard to take off (had to use eye makeup remover). I don't like this product so far.

I generally like this product, I like the colour of it and the similarity to the colour of my skin. It's a nice champagne-ish colour on me and it's subtly shimmery. The only thing I do not like is it is literally like PAINT. It's like smearing paint on your lids. I usually cant gauge how much I need and end up wasting some. I have to blend out a bit with my finger and sometimes it dries in a weird pattern, I've never tried this as an eyeshadow base, I usually use cream eyeshadows. I might rebuy this again on BOGO, but it's VERY expensive for my budget and it's not as good as some of the other HiP products.

this stuff is literally like paint on your eyelid it doesn't seem to "absorb" at all into my lid like UDPP or shadow insurance, but it does last forever. the only problem i have is that it dries a bit too much (it dries out/irritates my lids) and that also makes it impossible for me to blend out any eyeshadow i put on top of it. basically whatevery eyeshadow color i put on it is stuck there instantly and i can't blend it out fast enough.
i guess if u have a quick hand than this is a nice product but i'd still rather pay a few more bucks and buy UDPP so that i can make ALL my eyeshadow colors last forever.
