These are my absolute favorite eyeshadows. All 8 colors are amazing. They have a great texture to them, apply beautifully, have awsome pigmentation and staying power. I originally bought one of these because of the pattern and packaging but these shadows are worth every penny. They are cruelty free and definitely HG status.

I love the packaging on this, it feels very sturdy and idk just cool. The color is very nice as well. I said I wouldn't re-buy it because I don't think I'll ever need to, you don't use a lot of it.

I brought a bunch of these recently after coming across them really cheap on trademe ( nz version of ebay )
Today I gave Moon Beam a go.
I love it! Perfect for creating a coloured smoky eye.
The different swirls of colours give you a range of different effects with the same shadow.
I am generally a fan of black shadows and use them to set my gel eyeliner but the green colour is gorgeous and has the perfect amount of shimmer to make my eye colour pop!
I have put some pictures up to give you an idea of the colour but it is quite hard to capture the intensity in a pic.
Love love love this product!!

So worth it. I have 2 Galaxy Glam shadows and wish I bought them all instead of the NARS Night shadows I decided to get instead(they are said to be dupes). They are all black shadows with different colored shimmer. Moon Beam is black with green and platinum shimmer. It shows up so pretty, black with obvious green/silver sparkles. It lasts all day on me and I love lining my eyes with it. The reason why I prefer them over my NARS night series shadows is because the shimmer in the NARS shadows seems to just disappear on my skin and it will look like one blended dark color, the galaxy glam shadows apply just as they look in the pan.

This eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous. The packaging is so cute that you can easily overlook how bulky it is. You can get so many colors with this single eyeshadow: black with a green tint, a dark forest green, a medium or light greenish grey... so beautiful, the color you get depends on where you swirl your brush. you also get a lot of product, 3g of eyeshadow for pot ( the MAC ones are 1.5g in the usa and 1.3 in europe).

I totally lucked out when I bought this shadow: it was during the Sephora after-holiday sale, and I got it for 8 bucks. I probably would not have bought it otherwise, and I'm glad I got the chance to get this awesome color for so cheap.
The green swirls so beautifully with the white and black in the compact to produce a lovely green shimmer that's perfect for work or weekend depending on how heavily you apply it. I really enjoy the smoothness and how easily it goes on. I always use it with my primer potion, so it stays on throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this shadow.
On another note, I won't buy this product again because it contains parabens.

Absolutely gorgeous color. It like a deep deep green black duo chrome thing, lol hard to explain but gorgeous, you really need to see it in person. Very pigmented, its 3g so it will last forever, the only bad thing about it is the price, 19.50 yikes! but i guess the amount they give you makes up for it, I def want to buy some of the other colors too :)

Wow, amazing metallic green. It makes a gorgeous smokey eye. It lasts and you can pick up the colors separately. white, dark forrest green and black. i would compare it to Milani's clover but more moody and flashy.

Galaxy Glams are a domed shaped cake of eyeshadow housed in a gleaming silver screw top container with a magnifying clear domed top.
The shadow itself is a combination of several colours. The base is a black semi matte (closer to a very dark charcoal gray). The swirls of colour have white pearl with a very metallic green micro shimmer in it.
The interesting thing about moonbeam is that the dark blackish background shows through a bit matte which contrasts beautifully with the green metallic shimmer particles that twinkle from the black background. It is very striking because the green does not overtake the black. If you pick a container with large swirls of color, you can use them on either side of the spectrum. You can pick out the black, which gives a lovely very dark colour with just a hint of green in it, or you can pick the white swirls which gives a lovely metallic green colour - the white tends to vanish.
If you mix the two colours, you get a lovely dark that provides a delightful smokey eye with green metallic echo in it. It is breathtaking.
I have found that Galaxy Glams require a good base to stay on well and look the most beautiful. I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance for the base and it works beautifully.
Moonbeam can be used wet as well. You can either wet the skin and apply over it, or dampen a brush and use it that way. If you do use a damp brush, make sure to use only one section of the cake as over time it tends to compress the powder making it harder to use dry. It can also be sheered out if you like, although I think they really shine when used intensely for a smokey eye over a base.
Price is expensive (£12), but I have a feeling this will last me a good few years. Quality of shadow is great too -- easy to blend & smooth. I find this shadow brings out my green eyes even more & makes them pop...the shimmery green just looks fantastic. Would definately repurchase & recommend! :)

This is such an unique shadow!! I have been standoffish about too faced products because their packaging and image is a little gimmicky and cheap. I came across this shadow because the sales assistant at KIT (I'm in Australia) was telling about one of their makeup pallets. These shadows caught my eye due to their unusual packaging and so I swatched the colour. And boy was I surprised! The colour is a beautiful very bright foresty green shimmer/glitter over a black base. The finish actually looks as though I have applied two different layers of shadow.
So I had to have it. When I tried it on at home I was even more impressed as I found that I could really pick up each individual colour from the different veined sections (they are like the mac mineralised finishes). So I can actually create 3 different shadow looks from one shadow! So I put the green shimmer on my lid and sweep the dark green black over my crease and my look is finished! And I'm not usually one to like multitasking products because most of the time they end up being more complicated for me.
I can't recommend this eyeshadow enough! If you love dark shadows but is looking for something a little different, check these shadows out! I'm definately going to get myself more. They also look great with green glitter over the top. Two thumbs up from me!

This is a beautiful eyeshadow. I always use fluidline as a base, so it gives you that dark, smokey forest green look that Nars Night Porter should look like. I love this formula, and have bought all of them. They are a bit pricey, but should last a couple of years at the least.
Bottom line- No other shadow looks exactly like this color. Very unique, and beautiful.

The packaging for this product is what caught my attention. It comes in a little silver container and the top is supposed to look like a telescope lens. The eyeshadow it self has swirls of different colours and it really does look like a galaxy. On my eyes I thought it would be more green but it just looks black. I was disappointed. I wouldn't repurchase it.

Love this! Such a pretty green. I was worried about it being too dark for all over base color but you can pick up the white and green pigments separately from the black! Can also be used a s a line!

It's official! All the Galaxy Glam eyeshadows are exact dupes for eyeshadows from the Nars Night Series collection. Moon Beam is a perfect dupe for Night Porter. I like the Too Faced version better because it's alot softer and I like packaging much better. It's a black eyeshadow with green veining and comes out a deep smokey green when you swirl the colors together with your brush. I plan on using it in the crease with green looks or for a smokey eye.

Ah, I am *such* a sucker for advertising. I have more than a few shimmery, smoky shadows but found myself sold somewhere between the description of "futuristic Italian opalescent-pigments" and the pots that look like little galaxies (very creative--the shadow is rounded, and the top of the lid is clear plastic that functions a little like a magnifying glass, so it really does have a space-y look). Anyway, I purchased Deep Space and Moon Beam, which are very similar to the NARS Night series in Night Flight and Night Porter, respectively. I prefer the Too Faced versions mostly because they're a little more fun, but also because the swirls of black, blue and opalescent white make it easier to control the smoke factor. I find NARS' Brush #15 perfect to apply these with, though they're blendable enough that most liner brushes or even fingers work fine.
Moon beam is described as black with laser-light green, and really makes my blue/green eyes pop. It's not as opalescent as it claims to be, but it's sexy and shimmery without being over the top. Recommended!
