I'm really impressed with this and surprised at the good results I've gotten! This freezing weather has caused my lips to become incredibly dry...like horrible, cracking, damaging dry. NONE of the lip balms/treatments I have helped even a little bit. Those include: Prescriptives lip treatment, Carmex, Aveeno, Neosporin lip health, Chapstick, Eos, Vaseline, not even my trusty Palmer's cocoa butter stick helped. I saw this new product at the store and bought it on a whim (well, out of desperation). I've been using it for a couple of days and I'm REALLY impressed with it. This is the only thing that has helped my dry, chapped lips this winter. It worked immediately and was soothing. I feel like it sinks into the skin. The product has the consistency of a thinner version of Vaseline or Carmex, but unlike those two it was very long lasting! That's one of the major reasons I like it. I don't have to constantly reapply and my lips feel moisturized for a long time. It has also seemed to heal my lips. Each day brings better results. The applicator is kind of weird, but I think the product works better because of the brush applicator. The brush ensures the product is distributed evenly (Make sure you smile big when you apply this so that the product can get into those cracks or lines). The only downside is that I have to look in a mirror when I'm applying to make sure it doesn't go past my lip lines. It's a little annoying that you can't see how much product is left in the tube. Overall, I really like this product and I'm pleasantly surprised it works so well. Would definitely buy again.

I was first drawn to this product when I saw their ad in Seventeen magazine because the model had reeeeeeeeally pretty lips. Though they were most likely photoshoped, I still bought it anyways. I just got it today, and I don't know how to apply it. There's this weird twisty thing at the end and the applicator is a dry brush. I'm assuming that the twisty things is supposed to put product on the brush, but I don't know if it is or not. I thought the brush would be liquidated, but it isn't. Can anyone tell me how to apply it?

This seems indistinguishable from the overnight lip recovery product, which I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. The applicator doesn't make as much sense -- I don't understand the reasoning behind the twisty-turny brush thing. I'm going to stick with the Overnight Lip Recovery for 24-hr, but use much more sparingly during daytime under lipstick. NOTE: I don't really understand why, but I have found that I need to be careful not to let this product stray too far outside my liplines. It does NOT condition the naturally dry skin that immediately surrounds my lips -- only the lips themselves.
UPDATE: Taking off a lippie for this now that I see product is made in China, especially since the Overnight Lip Recovery says Made in USA!

I got this on sale for 7.99 @ Walgreens. [Original price is 10.49] It's an ok product. Just ok. I usually put it on under my lipstick. I can't really tell if it makes a difference. You can't tell how much is left b/c of the packaging. I wouldn't buy this again.

This is pretty damn good. It truly feels like a "lip treatment". I don't think I'd call it a lip balm. It's a moisturizing lip treatment that is not gooey or sticky at all. I use it before I use lip balm, and I think it enables my lip balm to be more effective. What I don't really care for is the packaging. It looks real sleek, but it's not that effective. First of all, you can't see how much is left, and they put a miniscule amount of product in a very long case. It's a click style that feeds through a brush, but it feels like I can never get enough treatment no matter how many clicks. It smells sort of minty, which to me, is good for a lip treatment - soothing. Good product, stupid packaging, sort of expensive.
