TIP: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT FOLLOWING UP WITH A MOISTURIZING TREATMENT. I mean it!!! LOL. Same as any other protein treatment; this works way better with a moisturizing conditioner afterward since the hair will be slippy and soft. I really like this. It's fantastic and effective for the price. Very much like Nexxus Emergencee, although I think the Nexxus is still a bit more effective. This will get your hair back in shape after colouring, bleaching or regular overstyling.

I don't think you've named this accurately. I don't believe this product gives moisture. It is an intense protein rebuilder only and as such you need to be careful not to overuse and to remember to moisturize your hair after. I think it is phenomenal. It compares very closely to Redkens Deep Fuel at a mere fraction of the cost. In fact I like it better. This left my usualy dry, fragile, flyaway hair very shiney, bouncy and strong. I used it on washed, towel dried to damp, hair and left it on under a plastic cap for about an hour. It is important to get your hair as dry with a towel as you can, otherwise the water in your hair will only dilute the product in your hair. I think you could leave it on longer if you wanted. The texture is a runny cream and it distributed easily through my hair. I also used their Effective treatment as a rinse with protein and moisture after rinsing this out, just to make sure I added in some moisture. I can't get over the ION line, the price is unbeatable and it has no strong perfumes. I had been having a terrible problem with products making my head itch. Not with these. Try them, you won't be sorry.

I have somewhat coarse, color-treated hair. I like Malibu 2000 Protein Builder/conditioner the best - but this stuff I picked up from Sally Beauty is quite good. I got it on sale for 99 cents a packet (usually it's double that). You can also buy it in larger containers. This helps strengthen and moisturize.
Do *not use this all the time, over time it will dry the hair.
For daily use: try Nexxus Humectress Ultimate or Tigi Headshot.

I swear by this stuff. It's amazing. I use it once a week to restore luster and shine to my heat-styled hair.

I've used this twice now and my hair looks a lot healthier. I think this is a great product and will repurchase. My hair got stronger after the first use and I got compliments on it.

I think this works pretty good. After a protein conditioner you're supposed to use a moisturizing conditioner to add back some softness that the protein takes out. Overall, it's ok.

This was okay, didn't really notice anything. It does have a kind of strange smell or at least to me. The consistency is also different not creamy more gooey. I used it all, but wouldn't buy again because it didn't do much for my hair.

I tried this the other night. After bleaching my hair out and coloring it for two years, I decided to use this to help restore my hair to its former glory, now that I'm back the my natural color.
It was ok, it moisturized it, but it wasn't quite as shiny as I was hoping. After I used it, I decided to start using the conditioner that came with one of my old L'Oreal Feria kits from last summer. It was surprisingly more helpful than the ION treatment.
So all in all, if your hair is moderately damaged, this might do the trick. But if your hair has been through the wringer, it's no miracle worker.

I started using this after I colored my hair, but found it works nicely once or twice a week to make my hair extra soft and silky. It really helps my fine yet somewhat frizzy/flyaway hair. It smells good, and I think it makes my hair shinier(my hair is pretty shiny to begin with though). Plus my husband loves how my hair feels and smells after I use it, lol.
