I was instantly attracted when I saw this in the store. I mostly wear neutral looks, but occasionally I want a pop of color, so I thought this would be fun.

It's a black pencil with a teal/green metallic sheen. On the eyes, it looks like a soft black. The metallic sheen is not very visible, but it's still fun.

I was impressed by the wear of this pencil. I have long days - I go to school, work, and commute 2 1/2 hours. It's late by the time I get home and this is still exactly the way it was when I left the house, even on days when I skip primer.

It applies ok, but it is not as soft/smooth as the Rimmel soft kohls, but it is not too hard to use either. My eyes are sensitive, so I can't use hard pencils. However, these also smudge much less the the soft kohls as well.

Packing is cute - black with green glitter to make it easy to find it amongst my every growing collection of eye pencils.

It's nothing crazy, new, or amazing, but I think it is a good product. It doesn't have "wow factor" but it's a fun one to play with to add a little something different to my everyday look.

This is the green that I have been looking for forever ~ this is absolutely gorgeous. It's not peridot by any means. It's a dark, turq, teal, with a slight tinge of black. It's very hard to describe ~ it's on the cooler side and would look great on redheads, hazel and blue eyed women.

I just added some red to my brown hair and this eyeliner looks superb for evening. It doesn't last all night, but honestly I don't know one that does. I quick touch up in the rest room is needed. I don't use liner on my waterline, so that's not an issue for me. I own three other "Spark It Up" liners and love them all. I will definitely buy this liner again...

everything is good about this eyeliner except the lasting power. it smudges on me so easily that i don't even bother wearing it when i'm going out. it does not stay on the waterline. i haven't tried it on the top lid, but seeing how it smudges on the waterline, i don't see how this would last very long on the top lid either. the color though, is really nice. it's a black but with a green/turquoise sheen. the pigmentation is good. it's creamy. i don't have a problem with sharpening it. but i don't sharpen it to a completely sharp point, so that might be the reason why.

I will buy this again and I have, many, many times.

I love this stuff, it's my favourite eyeliner. The colour is very flattering for blue eyes, I find, with enough sparkle to notice but not enough to look obnoxious. It doesn't run or smudge easily and it doesn't come off sometimes even when I want it to. I don't find it hard to sharpen either. I have broken it once or twice but I just stick it in the wide hole of a normal pencil sharpener and sharpen the lead for ergonomic ease.
It wasn't extraordinarily cheap but that's okay. I will work extra to buy me some Rimmel.

I love this eyeliner! It's such a pretty color! Definitely a change of the usual black. I use it on the waterline the most. It lasts a long time and it goes on nice. I haven't had to sharpen it yet so I don't know what to say about what happens after you do. I will be getting this eyeliner again and would like to try other colors as well.

I really like this liner it's gorgeous! I used it in my water line and it looks great. Lasted really well but did need to reapply in the inner and outer corners. urban decay 24/7 doesn't even last on my waterline so i think this is pretty good. shimmering not glittery teal black.

It's not like a peridot at all. but i don't really care about the name since I just like the color! It shows up as a dark shimmery teal color on me. Great for bringing out dark brown eyes. I needed a change from black and this is stunning. I haven't sharpened it yet but i do hope i still like it after!

I saw this at Target and thought it looked interesting. I love it. I just can't explain it, but it gives a great look without being overly black, the hint of green is just right. Target only had a view colors but it looks like Ulta has more. I may try the Tiger Eye or Ultraviolet. I have never seen these before but will definately buy again.

These eyeliners have become my new HGs!

I don't have the coloring to look good with straight black e/l, and sometimes I tire of the brightness of other more daring colors. That being said, I will almost never be found wearing a plain color like brown - I have gotta have something greenish, purpleish or bluish! So, I was glad this little product delivered the best of both worlds. It does impart the darkness I need from a liner without looking garish on me, while at the same time offering that hint of green I desire. It's perfect!

I would describe the color of this shade as a slightly irridescent dark smoke with a flash of teal. When I swatch it on my hand the flash is harder to see (just looks like green-gray), but on my eyes it really pops! It's like the effect of 2 liners in one - if you put a teal liner on top of a charcoal liner, that's what this ONE liner looks like. What a timesaver!

Another thing that's great about this product is that when I do apply a bright crazy shade of e/l in a similar shade, I'll go over it lightly with this and it really does a great job of toning it down without losing the punch. Hence the "Darkening" in the product name I suppose :)

And surprisingly, this has GREAT staying power. I always use it over eyeshadow w/ a primer so I don't know if that's why, but either way, it stays put for me ALL day, and has for months. The effect is just what I am going for with my eye makeup. Every time I go to Ulta I buy some of these, but they are always sold out - the word must be getting out!

As soon as I saw these in the store, they immediately reminded me of MAC's Kohl Powers. Could it be just a coincidence that both are made in Italy? IME, both apply identically and last/wear the same so if you crave to try MAC's version, this should easily satisfy you at a bargain price. Peridot is an odd name for this one though (Peridot is a light green, not a deep tealy jade like this one...) but it is gorgeous. Basically a black kohl with a subtle green/teal iridescence. I do adore MAC but if you can find a strikingly similar product for less money, why not? I'll be picking up more of these.

I love this!!! Adore it, adore it! Of course, I have never tried the much raved about Mac version (jealous, i believe its called) so I can not compare. But from what I do know, this is gorgeous. Its a dark, slightly shimmery green that makes my brown eyes pop. I put this against my lash line and slightly on the bottom corner, mixed with a little dark grey powder on my lids, and lots and lots of black mascara....it gives me a sexy rocker chick kind of look. A definate favorite that I will surely repurchase!!!

When I saw this at Ulta I thought it looked a lot like MAC Jealous, so I decided I had to get it. It was so cheap, anyway. I swiped both Jealous and Peridot on my hand and they looked very similar, with Peridot looking a *tad* more teal than the more emerald Jealous. Then when I applied Peridot on my eyes, I saw a big difference. This is more like a very blackened blue-green, so much so that you can hardly see the green. It reminds me of a Bourjois e/l I have which I basically don't wear very often because it's not green enough. Too bad too, since I really wanted to find a cheap dupe of Jealous. Peridot just doesn't have the life and the brightness that Jealous has. And I have a major obsession with Jealous...

That being said, this e/l is very soft and creamy, easy to apply, and has great staying power. So I might throw one of these (I bought 2) in my bag as an emergency touch up pencil since I treasure Jealous too much to risk carrying it around (even with 4 backups I think this way...Jealous is HG for me!).

This isn't bad if you're trying to save money and want a very blackened green-teal e/l...

I think these are marketed to be similar to the MAC kohl powers, but I'm not sure. Swatched on the hand it's a really nice black with an emeraldy-teal flash. When applied on the eye the flash is almost impossible to see. I do love the texture and I like to use it for minimal makeup days just smudged into my lash line and it stays really well. It also blends very nicely. The flash really isn't noticeable at all but just makes the black slightly softer. I wouldn't buy this again, nor would I probably buy any of the other shades of this, but it was worth four or five bucks to find out how I like it.

This is part of Rimmel's new Underground line. It's an "eye-darkening" eyeliner (whatever that is supposed to mean) that flashes a pretty emerald color. These pencils are really cheap (about $4 US, I believe... and I got a BOGO at Ulta) and so far, these don't smudge or smear after all day wear. They're creamy and easy to apply, which is always a bonus. I wouldn't purchase this again just because I have tons of black eyeliner, this was more of a novelty purchase.
