This is a pretty mauvy beige on my NC-20-25 Warm Ivory complexion. I only take off a point as BB lipsticks tend to be a tad drying. The color gives me that "No-Makeup-Makeup" look that I love but also adds a touch of pink to my lips. A definite re-purchase.

While I love Tulle and wear it often, Sandwash Tulle was a big disappointment. I love the quality, wearability and finish of Bobbi's regular, semi matte lipsticks which is why I persist in trying new colors but I continue to have trouble finding shades I like. I wish she had more pinks that truly are pink. I thought Sandwash Tulle (based on the description and an online chat with MUA) would be a lighter, softer version of Tulle. On me, however, it looks like a darker, pinked up brown but with very little pink in the shade. It seems many of her lipsticks are just too bland and muted down with brown undertones. Sent it back....on to the next.... :-)

Sandwash Tulle is all wrong on me. Since I look good in soft pinky-nude colors I figured that a shade described as a "soft neutral pink" would work for me. Sandwash Tulle does not work for me however. There is little to no pink in it on my lips. It goes on as an unflattering medium brown that makes me look rather severe and unhappy. I've tried layering it with other lip colors and glosses but no matter what it always looks too brown on me. It clashes with my cool-toned porcelain skin. I found the lipstick to be somewhat drying to my lips as well. I think that, from my personal experience, BB's better lipsticks can be found in her creamy line.

I wear this everyday, i just love it! I wear other colours every now and then but this is my everyday lipstick. It is drying, so you'd have to wear lip balm under it. I was searching for a colour for my wedding that is coming up, tried heaps of brands and colour but they have all been disappointing. So I think I will probbaly wear this for my wedding. This colour just lifts my complexion. Will re-purchase forever.

By chance, I was lucky enough to find a Bobbi Brown MUA who could see color. Not all of them can, believe me! She showed me how to determine by natural lip color and chose Sandwash Tulle as my natural shade. What a differance this makes in your makeup! I got the liner also and discovered that the liner alone all over my lips with a gloss on top looked amazing. I paired the lipstick with the new Desert Pink blush. Now I look natural and not "made-up"! I am blond with a fair complexion and blue eyes. I am definitely staying with this color and this MUA!

Bought this on a whim. Was looking for a MLBB lipstick and this looked great in the store. A beigy pink. When i got outdoors though, the pink looked VERY pink. I had to blot it down so it wouldnt be so bright. Bought Petal gloss with it and it tones it down a bit. Not sure if will repurchase.
