This mask is great for acne and blackheads. It tingles and has 5% glycolic in it. It is a great mask and gives immediate overnight results. The next morning your skin will be noticeably clearer. It smells like pumpkin pie and has the texture of pumpkin pie filling.

Got a sample of this with Lactic Acid mask. I didn't expect it to do much but I put it on before I went to a wedding for a little skin pick me up.

Immediately it started tingling and even stung a little bit. I was concerned that maybe it would be too strong and make my skin red/tight/flaky etc but I just said "What the hell' and left it on for 5 mins, then washed it off.

at first my skin was a little red/flushed. However it quickly settled down and became AWESOME. Yes it was! Pores were much smaller, skin texture was much smoother, overall just looked nicer and clearer.

I will def buy a full size container of this.

I'm not one of those people who goes crazy for packaging, or what the product smells like. If it works, and I don't have to sell a kidney to be able to afford it, I'm on board.

But I must say, this mask smells great. I ordered a sample to try and I'm glad I did. This is a nice treatment to do before applying your make-up, but don't expect any miracles.

I certainly don't think it's worth $20 a jar.

I purchased this masque after reading the reviews on MUA and lots of research. I like it, though I don't love it. But for the price, it can't be beat. When I feel like splurging again, I might buy the similar product I picked up once at Burke Williams Spa.

I got this as a free sample from MUAC and I found this mask nice and easy to apply, felt a tingle & tightening immediately. I left on for about 6 minutes then washed off with DHC mild soap. my face was not orange, it felt clean and looked a bit brighter. It felt like it did more than most other masks i have used, and I have used alot of them. I am thinking of purchasing in the future.
Note: I laugh when I read the Go Green reviews-If people only knew what was in their food and other products they use, eat, drink and breath in, they might as well get into a plastic bubble now.

I got this mask for free with my regular purchase of the muac glycolic peel. Loved it! Gave me a nice glow! I don't love the smell, but didn't hate it. If you like pumpkin pie, you'll love the smell. It coated my skin nicely and a little goes a long way. I adore using masks and have tried millions. This one ranks very highly on my list of favorites. I will buy this with my next order for sure! Just wash your face after using, as it does kinda stay on your skin after rinsing. Love MUAC! :)

so i haven't bought this product. however, i did receive a nice little sample from when i bought my muac 40% latic acid peel. it lasted me i think 2 applications. or was it 3. can't remember. but it was great. i never knew what skin brightening was until i tried this product. honestly! when i first used it, i noticed that my skin was brighter, it looked so clean. like not oily or anything. just really perfect. had that very clean look to it. i, however, didn't associate the brightening i got from the mask. i figured since i'm cleaning my face of course, it's going to look cleaner and brighter. it always does. so then a week later, i did the mask again, using a lot more, and i DEF. saw the brightening effect this mask had. i was like wow, very surprised. shocked almost. i loved it. i actually called one of my friends right after i used it, since he's such a face product junkie. now, for exfoliation, i honestly never see any exfoliation with any of the masks/peels i buy. my skin just looks cleaner. nothing more. so, who knows if my skin got exfoliated, which seems to be why this product got such a low score.

now, the pumpkin mask has an dark orangeish color to it(obviously) and it has a hmmmm sort of strong pumpkin smell at first. not bothering. but still, ya know. it subsides after like a minute. now, the texture of the mask is really like oat mealish. and it feels as if you were putting oat meal on your face. but it like it.

this review is only from a sample. but, i really liked it. idk why it's getting so many bad reviews. i personally love it. DEF buy for me. just as soon as i finish my year's supply of latic acid peels.

My skin is sensitive but I also have used products like retinoids, glycolic/aha/bha lotions as well. I have used a pumpkin mask in the past from Bath and Body Works and it didn't seem to much of anything. So I thought I'd give this a try since it has added benefits with glycolic acid. I have to say I am not pleased with this product from MUAC. It stung slightly while on which is okay but it left a tint of orange on my skin after rinsing. This didn't improve my skin, will not be repurchasing.

On the plus side, I experienced no irritation from this peel, but on the flip side, I also experienced no exfoliation. I don't think it was strong enough for me

I am 49 years old. I've been using Retin-A a couple of times a week for nearly 20 years, so my skin isn't in bad shape. I do however have some light wrinkling and I noticed a little crepey (not creepy!) quality beginning. I use MUAC's TCA peel and their 40% lactic acid peel and I love them both! I got the Pumpkin Masque mainly for my teenage daughter (14 years old) who is dealing with acne, like most teens. I didn't want her to use any peels because except for the occasional acne flare-ups, her skin is beautiful. At 14, she definitely does not need a peel! This masque is perfect for a teenager though. It gives just enough exfoliation to keep pores clean and open without being irritating and leaving any redness or flaking.

I, myself, even use it and I really like it. First of all, it smells wonderful! The smell alone is worth buying it for. Secondly, it's just a nice, light product that does its job without leaving any redness or flaking afterward. I do have to agree with the others who said that it colors your skin, but that's only temporary. I always wash it off with Cetaphil and water and I have no problems with the color lasting beyond that. I use this once a week, a few days after my weekly 40% lactic acid peel ... just when I begin noticing minor flaking. This gets rid of the flaking very gently and quickly.

Considering the price of this item, I felt it did "nothing" for my skin. Not only did I not see any immediate improvement in my skin (much like I might see with any other basic exfoliation cream I'd buy at the drugstore)...but I didn't see any benefits beyond that, a day or two later either, as one might expect with a product that also contains glycolic acid.

I was thinking this product might be good as an "extra special" basic exfoliating cream that I could just use whenever my skin needed an easy pick-me-up... say before a night out (and when I WOULDN'T use say an actual "peel" product right before going out, as it would cause redness!)

But I have to say that I have had better results with other (cheaper) exfoliators, such as those by inexpensive drugstore brands like Queen Helene.

So I won't be spending my money on this one again!

Also, note that even after rinsing this product off of your skin, it leaves a slight orange tinge to your skin...from the actual product itself still remaining on your skin. So I recommend you WASH your face again after using this product, with your preferred facial cleanser. I wasn't imagining the orange tinge, because the first time after I'd rinsed, I then did my normal routine of wiping my face with a cotton ball soaked with my facial toner. And when I did, the cotton ball turned pumpkin orange...so that's when I realized I needed to wash my face again after using this product...

I bought two samples of the Pumpkin Mask to try out with MUAC Micro Polish Cream. I use the Pumpkin Mask once every three days, and I use the MPC the day before I use the mask. This combination seems to be working well with my skin. My skin tone looks much smoother and tighter. My pores are smaller and my blackheads are clearing up. I think it's the PM that is clearing up my skin and hydrating it because the blackheads came back when I only used the Micro Polish Cream.

One sample of Pumpkin Mask lasted for three applications. I will definitely purchase the full size when I am finished with the samples.

This is the first MUAC product I've ever tried. I think it's the most effective mask I've ever used. Usually after using a mask, my skin feels nice and all but there is never any noticeable difference to my skin.

UPDATE: After learning about the harmful chemicals commonly used in beauty products from such website as ewg.org and safecosmetics.org, I no longer use this product. Check it out for yourself. It was a real eye-opener for me. I ended up throwing out so many products (that cost a lot of money), but now that I limit myself to buying only "green" products, I don't spend nearly as much money on products as I used to. Don't be afraid to educate yourself.

I'm on the fence for this product. I've bought the sample, so maybe it's not a fair assessment as I've only used it twice. When applied, it gives a nice tingling sensation - so gives the impression that something's happening. When I wash it off, my face squeaked- that's new. My skin felt soft, but then - it does when I use my regular glycolic cleanser anyway. Does it make a huge difference though? Not really. I have other masks that does the job much more effectively, where I can see an immediate difference. I know that some products say you need to use it for up to 6 weeks or whatever to see the difference, but why wait 6 weeks when you can see immediate effect?? So - okay product, but nothing to rave about.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been any reviews on this product yet, since Makeup Artist's Choice claims that this is one of their best-selling products. I can see why - this mask is intense! Although it is recommended for people with dry or normal skins, I have oily skin and this suited me just fine.

If you have tried MUAC's glycolic masks before, you should have some idea of what to expect from this. This is a professional-strength mask - much stronger than any mask you would find in a store. It is a blend of mashed pumpkin blended with 5% glycolic acid and essential oils. When you put it on, you will have mashed pumpkin all over your face! They say that you will experience 'slight tingling', though I would categorize it as 'mild burning'. My skin is probably sensitized from the retinol products I have been using - although I discontinued use a few days ago.

After 5 minutes, I washed the mask off with a non-soap cleanser (I recommend Alpha Hydrox's cleansers). Water alone will not wash this product off. My face was red as a beet afterwards, but after a few minutes (and application of their copper peptide serum) the burning was gone and my skin went back to its normal color. My skin looks nicely exfoliated, although I saw better results with the 40% Glycolic Peel. Not sure if the added pumpkin makes much of a difference, although I do like that this product is almost entirely natural!
