So far, I like this product. Ive used it three times and feel that it has exfoliated my skin well. Having it used t for such a short time I can't really say much yet. It doesn't sting when I used it like I had heard from other people. It is relatively easy to use despite it being a little too thick for my liking. It doesn't really have a distinctive scent that I notice which is a good thing. It takes a little while to absorb but I think it's worth it for the results it gives. Will update after using it for a while!!!

UPDATE!
have to change my rating on this. I would not buy it. Its not a bad product or anything, it just didnt give me the results that are worth the money i paid for. In other words, i can get the same results for cheaper.

bought this a year ago then put away to try new things. the other day noticed my arms were getting a sagging look. found this in the back of cupboard and using everyday on crepey legs and arms. this is much better than M20 product which is very sticky. so, for me it is Clarins Body Lift or this depending on the day. am much better at massaging in so then it leaves no thickness feel - and the heat of rubbing makes it more liquid like on skin. EDIT: well, after short time use just have to stop. My skin is too thin and noticed veins being very exposed and broken capillaries where most people do not have them. Like everywhere actually.

I only use this 17% Glycolic acid on my feet and hands only. It is a very thick lotion and difficult to spread on the body. It keeps my feet smooth and soft. I use Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic acid on my body instead.

i believe this product is very effective but i don't like the consistency of this cream. it's very thick and doesn't absorb very quickly. that being said, i do believe that the effectiveness of this lotion outweighs that fact that i have to rub it in a little longer than i would like too. i'm more prone to ingrown hairs than i am to clogged pores so the richness of this cream is something that i will deal with especially for the price. compared to other high aha body lotions this is relatively inexpensive for what you get in the bottle. also i really like the pump bottle and wish the body wash came in this packaging. overall this is something that i will you in rotation with other, more expensive body lotions. overall, i do recommend this lotion if you are look for alternatives and are used to high aha body lotions already.

Tried this even though I don't have KP because I just want to exfoliate my skin and after reading numerous reviews. I wasn't disappointed. I never felt my skin this soft before and I noticed it also evened out my skin tone. It's a bit thick and hard to apply and you may feel sticky for awhile but it's all totally worth it. Only downside is that I have to order on ebay since it's not available here. But I will buy again after my bottle will run out.

This one definitely works. I prefer this one over Glycolix lotion with the similar job as I get more in the bottle and I believe it costs me less or similar. Definitely smoothens skin, although with Accutane, I now have to use regular lotion over it to avoid irritating my now dry skin. I don't yet know if it will still be a job getting all of the product through the pump system. The Glycolix lotion does a terrible job with that because of the thicker texture.

This is amazing for getting rid of dry skin and smoothing the skin. This helps me avoid ingrown hair on my legs. And if it feels to harsh sometime I mix it with a plain lotion. Really works. Lovelyskin.com has great prices and deals on Glytone products.

Although I do not have KP I do use this body lotion 2x a week for all-over body exfoliation. It works better than all of the exfoliating scrubs that I have tried. The feeling that this lotion will give your skin after it has sloughed off your dead skin is incredible. Mark my words: use this lotion at night- the next morning shower as usual and the feeling of your skin will amaze you. When I did that, I stood in the shower wondering why my skin felt so smooth (I was sleepy), and kept rinsing and rinsing my skin because I thought that there was still soap on it. I wanted to run around butt naked just to let people feel my skin (Lol). And once you dry off, the feeling remains. I might start using this lotion only once a week due to the fact that its effects are pretty long-lasting. Highly recommended!

I'm on my second or third bottle and I hate to be in the minority here, but I had such high hopes that this product would rid me of my stupid KP and it just hasn't been able to do that. If I was very dilligent and applied in the AM and PM it might work, but I'm just not willing to do that. I took off a point because the texture is just waaay too thick. I feel like I am trying to smear my body with a waxy lip balm. I don't understand why they can't thin the formula a bit. I try to put it on every night, but some nights I just can't bring myself to do it, so I end up using it about 5 nights a week. It does make my skin super soft (especially my elbows), which is the only reason I will continue to use this. I'm probably going to try getting the body wash to see if that helps, but I personally don't see how a body wash could make that big of a difference since it's only actually on your skin for about 30 seconds.
UPDATE: While I can't stand to do a whole body application every day, I have been applying to my upper arms daily and I have noticed a big reduction in those stupid bumps.

Ever since I was a kid I've had little tiny bumps on my arms and some on my thighs Nothing I have tried, including other glycolic produducts , have helped much to rid me of them completely until this. I cannot believe what a difference it has made in not only the way my skin feels to me , but the way it appears also. My husband actually commented on how my legs were "shiny" yesterday. He said that never in 20 years together had the skin on my legs not looked dry and dull (and I moisturize all the time!). I use this with the retexturize body wash. I will never purchase another now that I have found this. Worth every penny for me.

I have bad KP on my arms and I tried numerous glycolic lotions, but none of them worked as well as this one. This lotion is pricey, but it is so worth it. My arms are smoother and my red bumps are less visible. I will definitely repurchase this product!

Love this stuff! I've been using it for years after my dermatologist recommended it to clear acne on my chest and back. Not only are both areas clear, but they my skin on my chest and back are incredibly smooth and have no signs of sun damage (freckles) like the rest of my skin that is exposed just as often. If I could only find something just as effective for my face!

Together with the corresponding body wash, this product helps to keep my severe KP at bay better than any other product--including prescription lotions. It does not totally eliminate my KP (which completely covers my arms and legs), but it does reduce the number of bumps exponentially--I'd say something like 80%. It is a little pricey, but effective.
I must admit that this lotion is not pleasant to put on--it DOES sting, it is thick and difficult to rub in (it does not soak in right away), it makes my skin a little sticky, and it has no smell--but it DOES work.

I bought this to use mostly on my upper arms, where I have pretty severe keratosis pilaris. It helps a little, but it's nothing close to a cure. I also occasionally use it on my elbows when they get rough, but I avoid using it on other parts of my body because it can sting. It works like you'd expect any 20% glycolic acid lotion (free acid value 17.5%) to work -- it's a pretty effective exfoliator. My only complaint is that it's actually a little too emollient -- it feels sticky after applying, and stays that way for a while. I think the culprit might be petroleum. It's unscented, and doesn't have that nasty vinegar smell that lactic acid lotions can have. I like Glytone much better than LacHydrin for this reason!

I purchased this from my dermatologist, who recommended it when she saw the chronic dry skin on my heels. I LOVE this lotion. I have never as an adult had baby soft heels like I do after using this lotion. Highly recommend it - previously NOTHING would get rid of the chronic dry, cracked skin on my heels; no scrub, lotion or pedicure helped. This worked within one week of first use. I think this works by the chemical exfoliation of the glycolic acid that eats away the dry skin so the lotion can penetrate.

This has got to be the best body lotion out there! I have tried them all and nothing compares!! I have never had such smooth skin---esp. on my elbows and knees----even my boyfriend commented how soft my skin was a few weeks after I started using this. I just ran out a few days ago and can already tell the difference and am ordering a new bottle today (unless I can find it on ebay like I did the first time!). It does sting a bit, but the results are MORE than worth it. Amazing, amazing stuff!!!

This is expensive stuff but I only plan to use this on rough areas when the need arises (heels, shoulders, decolletage). I have been using this on my decolletage, which has had some irritation from a reaction to a body oil I had applied. The Glytone stings like crazy when I put this on that area! Ow ow ow...I can sense the high concentration of glycolic acid in this when I use it. Don't get this on a cut, or it will sting like a mo'fo'...It also stings on my shoulders. But I think it's worth it for the results...

I used this for only three days on my left shoulder because of a mild kp and noticed it was MUCH softer than the right shoulder, as well as completely smooth. So I am sold on this...

UPDATE (8/18/08): I use this every morning on my decollete and really can't figure out why it still burns so much! I have no irritation or broken skin on the region, yet it is so uncomfortable. Stings like crazy for about 5 minutes. Am I really that sensitive? Despite the discomfort, this lotion has really transformed my skin so I will continue to suffer from the stinging...

I have been using this body lotion for over a year now. It has a very strong concentration of glycolic acid 20% (17% free acid value at Ph 3.2) so you need to introduce it to your routine slowly. It does a wonderful job of exfoliating. I use it every other day. I will keep on buying this for as long as it’s around.

Bio: Dry flaky skin, prone to ingrowns due to epilators, back breakouts
Pros: Highest glycolic acid concentration lotion on the market
Very moisturizing, evens skin tone, clears up ingrowns
Absolutely no scent- no nasty sour aftersmell either
Doesn't sting- so far
Cons: Thick, due to petroleum in it's base
Pricey- but you use a little and it's well worth it
Overall: This is HG, high glycolic acid which is great for my super dry skin, leaves you moisturized, sinks in fairly quickly, no no no smell, is cheaper and works faster than PTR, Paula's Choice, AmLactin(this one is cheaper tho)... I have tried them all and this one takes the cake! Got mine at skincarerx, HG!!!
