Review of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser by ch4n
oh where do I start?
I;ve been in this quest to find the right face wash since I was 13, right when puberty hit me with crazy skin problems.It's like the devil's merry go round. Oil-acne combating cleansers = dries me out. Moisturizing cleanser = giving me 'muddy' skin, and then break outs. Mild cleanser = never works.
Nothing works on me, nothing, so I use my J&J soap free baby shower gel [seriously.desperate people does desperate thing] because that was the only thing quite works on my borderline personality skin. But then I stumbled upon Cetaphil; so I gave it a try.
It does like no other soap does; it cleanses my skin gently without making it bone dry; it gives me soft,smooth and healthy looking skin without giving me break outs, it FIXES my skin texture that once used to be harsh, uneven skin tone.I prefer to use it dry. Have a pump of this soap applied on my dry face then massage it for a few seconds then wipe it off with washcloth.
Now i have this smooth -healthy looking face , and now I notice that my powder puff/brush just slides nicely when I applying makeup.And it wipes away all of the debris that apparently already turned into fossils on the surface of my skin. After 2 months I have to buy a new shade for my foundation because now i turn out to have a fairer complexion! From a cleanser that is so cheap and without any 'brightening' attribute! What more can I ask? I would never buy and/or use another cleanser but this
