Review of MAC Lustre - Gleam by Mandibulo
At first I thought I'd hate this - being a Lustre and having those warm tones, I was convinced it was a no-no for me. But I was wrong! Au contraire, it seems like a pretty universal eyeshadow to me now. It's a nude, peachy color with a slight duochrome to it, meaning it kinda fades out into this cool light pink sometimes, which makes it more interesting and multi-dimensional. Now I'm all against peaches and pinks usually, but this just does the trick for some reason. It looks wonderful on, pretty neutral and polished, not orangey or pinky at all - even the payoff is pretty good for a Listre, and the fallout is minimal, and it doesn't contain chunks of glitter, like most of its fellow Lustres. It's the best of both worlds (warm & Lustre-y). Plus it's so easy to wear, just throw on a liner or a generous coat of mascara, and you're good to go. Recommended for a variety of skintones, from quite pale to quite tan. Would probably repurchase.
