Review of Matrix Biolage - Conditioning Balm by pmburk

I LOVE this product. I have very coarse, thick hair that is color-treated, and I heat style (blow dry and sometimes flat iron) almost daily. My hair tends to be dry and needs daily TLC. This delivers. I use the BioInfusions hydrating shampoo (Walgreens knockoff of the Biolage) followed by the Biolage conditioning balm. The conditioning balm is thick and almost waxy - MUCH different and nicer than all of the Biolage balm knockoffs out there. I only need to use about 1/3 the amount of conditioner I would normally use on my hair. You don't want to slather this on and overdo it, use just enough to coat your hair. I comb it through, leave it on about 10 minutes while I shave my legs, then rinse. Rinses clean, leaves my hair soft, shiny, silky and smelling fabulous. A little pricey but worth it, and the concentrated formula means it lasts longer because I use less. For a long time I tried using the Sally Beauty "Biotera" knockoffs of the shampoo & conditioner, and they aren't the same. They contain lots of 'cones, leave my hair feeling slick and full of build-up, and the conditioner is much runnier and doesn't work near as well as this. This conditioning balm is a definite HG and will repurchase.
