I'm honored writing the first review for this foundation. Lancome Teint Visionnaire Foundation & Concealer Duo SPF20 is a new Lancome foundation incorporating the success of the Visionnaire Serum into a high-tech foundation & concealer duo, combining skincare & makeup. It comes in a beautiful user-friendly glass pump bottle with a matching concealer housed in the mirrored lid. Lancome extended the shade range to 18 shades from fair to dark. Being a pale neutral NW/NC10 I picked up two generous samples of the lightest (Euro) shade #005 Beige Ivoire. I applied a few dots all over my face, blending out with my fingers. The texture is surprisingly lightweight; not too thick and not too thin. Quite creamy and easy to blend but be warned it dries fast. There's no scent which I'm grateful for since my sensitive skin can't tolerate fragranced makeup. The coverage is really good: I'd say medium coverage but you can build up to nearly full coverage. The foundation did a great job evening out my ruddy Rosacean cheeks. I did use a tiny amount of the concealer under my eyes and onto some of the stubborn red spots. The concealer is quite thick and a tad less creamy but it definately is a great concealer, offering full coverage. The only negative is the concealer shade not being lighter than the foundation; it's the same shade as the foundation and maybe even slightly darker but this might also be just my personal perception (I'm not very skilled in using and applying concealer;-). Once I was done my face looked awesome: even-toned, radiant and satiny yet completely natural. My (dry) skin felt hydrated, smooth and soft like velvet. This foundation gives a satin yet non-greasy finish; it would be great for dry skins. I'd imagine combo to oilier skins would have to blot during the day and/or use a mattifying powder on top of it. Also this foundation doesn't sink in lines & wrinkles so mature skins would love it too. Despite it not being marketed as being a long-lasting foundation it wears well throughout the day, looking as fresh after 12+ hours of wear even without setting with powder (which I usually do but not when trying a new foundation). At the end of the day my skin still felt supple and smooth. I didn't experience any irritation, dryness or breakouts. Retail price is 56 for 30ml which is expensive of course but given the fact you're getting a great foundation and a concealer as well not too bad. Now for the really bad news: this lightest shade is too dark for me (neutral NW/NC10). Although it goes on much lighter than it appears, this shade is at least about half a shade too dark and slightly too pink. I already did expect it to be since I've tried lots of Lancome foundations in the past and never found a matching Euro shade; the only shade coming close is US shade #Ivoire 1 N and #005 Beige Ivoire definately is darker. IMO More like NW/NC15-17. Very unfortunate because I have nothing bad to say about this awesome foundation and I for sure would have purchased a bottle otherwise. I hope Lancome USA will offer #Ivoire 1 N in Teint Visionnaire so we very fair skinned can also use this gorgeous foundation... That's why I said "yes" to the question if I would buy this foundation again. Bottom line: I highly recommend trying out Teint Visionnaire! Especially if you have dry, sensitive and or mature skin. *PPP Foundations List on My Notepad*
