This was $11.97CND, which is beginning to be the average for DS foundations sadly, but I had a P&G coupon for $2, so that's a bonus. Much better than $16-18 (or more) for Revlon Colorstay or $40+ for EL.
My local walmart had dozens of bottles of this foundation, but not one of them was in the lightest shade, Ivory, so I went with the next one up, Creamy Ivory 910, and I'm glad I did because it's a very good match. My skin is a confusing tone right now, I've always been very pale, and very pink/cool toned on my face... I seem to me leaning towards more neutral now. This shade seems very neutral to me and blends in with my neck and chest very well. The pale & pink toned foundations matched my face perfectly, but didn't always match my chest as well.
The packaging is great, I love the pump! I use 1.5-2 pumps and a duofibre foundation brush to cover my face and build up coverage over the bad redness on my cheeks. This goes on and blends extremely well, and is easily buildable to pretty much full coverage. Doesn't feel heavy at all.
It's been very cold here (-30 at times) so my skin can be extra flaky, but this doesn't accentuate any dryness at all, and still combats my oily t-zone. Makes my huge pores less noticeable.
I really like the finish, matte but not mask like, not sticky or drying. I always set with a powder out of habit, but I probably don't have to, and I'll try skipping it in the future. Not only does this last all day, but it helps my other makeup, blush/brow color/etc, last all day as well. I have sensitive skin and this hasn't broken me out or irritated my skin, even when I forgot and slept with it on.
I'm happy to say this is the best foundation I've ever used. I always used and loved CG foundations in my teens, but have strayed in my 20's... the good-but-not-quite-it ones I've found are; Rimmel Lasting Finish, Revlon Colorstay for combo skin, Relvon Photofinish, and EL DW/DWL... but none of them had perfect shade match for me, perfect finish, coverage AND long wearing.
