Review of Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara (Long &Tall) by Tamira
I was in the market for something new since I needed a new mascara and even with favorites still don't think I have an total HG. After reading Sephora reviews and doing some research and comparing price point to other high end mascaras that make the same claims (usually fewer), I settled upon this.
I like this a LOT...maybe even LOVE it... I may update this in a few weeks, but as for the first few tries, I am loving this mascara!
It does require you to comb your lashes to avoid a little minimal clumping that is inevitable with a brush this skinny, but aside from that, it makes your lashes falsie long (SERIOUSLY), without being too thick... They look GORGEOUS! Really long without spidery points, leaves them soft and flexible in comparison to other high end mascaras with a similar lengthening effect and you do get volume, but not that ridiculous kind where every lash looks like twenty and all clumped together. More natural...
This does not flake or smudge at all and does NOT sweat or bleed off...at all!!! Slept in it the first night (on bare face...was just too excited not to try it before bed when I got my package) and woke up with perfect, lush long lashes and no black anywhere else on my face!!! It also seems to lift the lashes higher (I suppose some would consider this curl enhancement). This makes the eyes look larger, and more open and awake.
This may be a new HG...
AND, it comes in a squeeze tube, so you will NOT waste any product and if you apply it with the little guitar pick looking thing (lash shield) it comes with, it makes lashes even LONGER than using it without and without getting any mascara on your lids. It can be applied well with or without the shield successfully. Also, the thin brush allows you to get every tiny lash in every corner.
I'm going to compare to old favorites in the next few weeks (Lancome, Dior, L'Oréal, etc...) And see if I still think it is as wonderful compared to reality as opposed to just my memory of those favs, but it is definitely a keeper! And my eyes look wide, awake and AMAZING!!!
