Review of Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette by Katedutch
I got Naked 2 during Urban Decay's FF sale (20% off, can't beat it!), after lemming Naked palettes for a couple of years without purchasing either. I posted on the boards here and everyone said to grab N2, so I did. I have pale skin and the colors are GORGEOUS with my complexion/blue eyes. At 23, I've yet to hit that "I can't rock glitter!" stage (though I think some glitter is acceptable at any age!! :), but I can safely tell you that the shades aren't nearly as BOOM glitter as the Anniversary palette (seriously - those glitters are Night At The Roxbury, Romy & Michelle status). A couple of the less glittery colors don't have much payoff - like Tease, which really is a tease since the beautiful taupe you see in the pan is very translucent with application (as is Foxy, but I like the yellowy beige as a brow bone color with a neutral smoky eye). Blackout is also in the Anniversary palette, they're not all N2 exclusive shades. It also comes with a travel size Naked lip gloss which is now my favorite lip gloss (already looking into purchasing the full size!). The tin packaging is nice and sturdy, and I was happy to find that it stays closed even in my purse (which magically ruins everything I own). Overall, I'm completely happy with my purchase. It's an easy palette that takes me from office-friendly to glam night on the town, a great everyday item.
