Review of Weleda Baby Calendula Cleanser and Shampoo by hp11989
Overall rating: I gave this HG product 5 lippies based on the fact that it does not irritate my picky, sensitive postmenopausal facial skin! About 1 year after menopause, I started having tiny breakouts (not milia) right to the side of and under my nose. I was too lazy to go to the dermatologist, so I started using Boiron Calendula Lotion (see my review on this) because calendula id good for cuts and abrasions. I figured it might help with the breakouts, too, and I was right. Then I started shopping around for an SLS-free calendula cleanser, and I came across this item at vitacost.com. It has a very light scent and about 5 ingredients, so I feel safe using it on my face and other body parts as well. Gentle on my skin and on the environment, too!
