Review of Unlisted Brand CVS Acne Treatment Gel by LilSphinx
I don't use this stuff regularly, more for spot treatments on occasion. This product is cheaper than the name brand by $1.00, but works just as well, if not better. Clean & Clear at CVS is $4.99 vs. the PERSA-GEL acne cream at CVS for $3.99.
I wash my face and then apply the acne medication before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning I always see a very noticeable difference.
-It has a very mild gritty texture to it, but it's not a problem. Doesn't feel or look oily, actually dries to a matte finish. I've never had a problem with it peeling off.
Con: If you use too much, it 'can' bleach your pillow case as you sleep.
As I don't use it too regularly and I moisturize on a regular basis, I can't really comment on whether it dries out my skin. I think it does just a very little bit, but as I said, I moisturize...so it's not a big deal.
Does not burn or have a strong odor to it..
One of the better working acne medications that I've ever used. Definitely recommend it.:) I would and most likely 'will' buy again.:D
