Review of L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Compact Makeup by platypus78

I ran out of my MAC Studio Fix and due to my budget, could not afford to run to the mall this week to replace it. I ended up at Walgreen's and after finding out that L'oreal was on sale I grabbed this.

First off, I had a hard time trying to match my skin color. I'm biracial (blk & asian) light skinned with warm undertones. There were a couple colors that looked as though they could work but it was frustrating trying to figure out why I should choose one over another. The girl who worked in that section could not help either but hey, it was Walgreen's what did I expect?

I ended up grabbing the N6 which matches but I think I should have gone a little darker. The warm color (by our guess) could possibly have made my face a little darker than my neck... going lighter would have made me look ashy :(

I have combination skin and am acne prone but so far so good. I did have to apply my moisturizer before and after (around my nose and on my forehead) because the makeup flaked there. After reapplying some moisturizer it looks pretty decent for ten dollars.

I do like this way better than the liquid version but that's mainly because of my skin issues.

I would buy this again if I were unable to afford department store makeup again. For me, there is good coverage (I have acne scars) and I can barely feel it on my skin. It was easy to apply (I tested it in my car... what? lol) and comes in a small cute compact.
