Review of L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Compact Makeup by stephani99

I love creme foundations & have tried a lot of them. This one isn't high on my list however, and I was hoping it would be in order to replace the Lancome one I currently use (despite being made by the same company, they are nothing alike). I tried the W-1-2 shade which was an ok match, maybe a bit light for me but was yellow enough which was nice (I'm @NC20 this time of year but Warm 3 looked too dark). What really irked me is this provided no coverage unless I used at least two, and more like three, layers. It's not my application, it just seems to be that sheer. I have "translucent" powders that provide more coverage than this does! I also found it a bit hard to blend despite the "super blendability" it touts because it seems very 'dry' in texture for a creme and that's exactly what it looked like. I guess I expected more from a creme since I have normal-to-dry skin, need some emolliency and coverage to even out some redness which is why I use cremes in the first place, but this didn't do either of those. After paying nearly $13 + tax I think I will be returning this to CVS and stick with my Lancome Photogenic creme which does everything I want it to, price notwithstanding.
