Review of E.L.F. Studio Powder Brush by mikxoh

I use to apply my MUFE foundation with my fingers but that made the product apply unevenly and a bit thick on the initial areas I'd dab it on. Also it made the foundation sink into my pores...

I used a flat foundation brush and even though it evened the product out, it left occasional streaks which I'd have to pat over with a sponge.

I'm a lazy person so doing that extra step with the sponge was a no-go for me. I have been told to buff the foundation into the skin with a flat top brush to minimize pores. I've browsed a bunch of brushes from MAC, urbandecay and other brands and just couldn't stomach forking over $30-$60 for a brush :x

At my last stop to target, I just grabbed this bad boy since it would make me stop mulling over the aspect of burning so much money for a foundation brush and I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS :D

$3?! Argg....how is ELF still in business? My brush is soft and dense. Buffing foundation into my skin is so easy and it leaves me with such a flawless finish. I have huge pores by my nose/cheek area and with this brush for application you can't see 'em :>

It doesn't irritate my persistent acne either! This brush does some tag team effort with my foundation to cover my spots up with no fuss.

I haven't seen my brush shed or anything. I don't even mind having to buy a new one in a year because this is just so damn cheap, how stingy can I be? This is one of the best $3 investment for a cosmetic item I've ever spent :D
