Review of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle by RachelisGreen

Color Reference - NC35 , Blonde Hair, Warm & Yellow Undertones.

MAC has to be one of my favorite high end brands, I just love their amazing range of products and their variety. Not to mention, they are the only foundation on the face of the planet that perfectly matches my skin! I have heard countless things about this highlighter and I am the queen of highlighters lol. I recently have discovered how to use them and I am absolutely in love with it because I have super high cheek bones as I am part native. I normally use Hard Candy's 'bronzer' in "Tiki" and it is still one of my favorite highlighters. It is gorgeous, but I was on the hunt for something new. I also had this crappy Physician's Formula Compact with a bunch of bead looking things that's a pinky/champagne color, it was complete crap - not pigmented at all and looked pretty horrible all together. ANYWAYS, lol, I went to MAC for my usual Prolong Wear Foundation and I saw this glistening under the lights. I swatched it, and immediately fell in love. It was such a gorgeous champagne shimmer, nothing like a glitter bomb that you can sometimes get with highlighters (although this highlighter does have glitter, it is not chunky whatsoever and I can hardly tell). This stuff is SUPER pigmented. I mean, ridiculously. Which means a little will go a long way. I've had this for about 3 months with frequent use alternating between this and my Hard Candy highlighter, and there isn't even a dent in my pan. I can see this lasting me a very very long time. This looks stunning on my tan skin, it's not too white or ghostly looking and not too silver or gold or pink. It's juuuust right. It looks amazing in pictures and it lasts a decent amount of time, but sometimes I do have to reapply throughout the day. One of my Holy Grail products.
