I admit, the first thing that drew me to Soap&Glory was their super-cute pink packaging with the vintage photos. I have oily / acne-prone skin, with large pores on my nose, so I picked up this scrub (USD$13 at Target) and thought I'd give it a try. At first, I didn't like the smell. It's hard to describe; sort of an artificial mint smell? But I got over that quickly. The consistency of the scrub is nice. The granules are quite fine, so it feels super gentle against my skin. I like to apply it when I'm in the shower -- I massage it into my skin for a minute then leave it on as a mask for another minute or two. It has this really nice cooling sensation to it if you leave it on for a little bit. And I like that you only have to use a little pea-sized amount to get the job done. I can't say this has helped "refine" my pores or improved the appearance of blackheads, but it certainly makes my skin feel softer and more refreshed. I plan on finishing up the tube I have, but I probably wouldn't buy it again at $13.
