Review of NARS Zulu by jiney17
Discontinued shade. Supposedly Anna Sui's favorite and what she modeled her own #915 after (I prefer Zulu since it does not have the strong rose fragrance and is a slightly darker green with a slightly glossier finish). One coat gives you a streaky emerald color. Two coats and you get a gorgeous, blackened Jaguar-green with a mirror-like gloss. It's as dark as you can get while still being definitely GREEN. Fabulous and unique for a vampy.
My only beef is that the NARS bottles, while looking chic as hell, have an annoying design flaw--the cap is not securely attached to the brush so that it sometimes becomes separated while you're unscrewing it. This was pricey too, though I can't really complain about it since I got it for half-off from the website this past summer. Good quality too--lasts and lasts with a decent base/topcoat. I, for one, will be jealously hoarding my sexy little bottle.
