Review of Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation by CarrieNations
Absolutely love this product. I wish I could give it a 4.5, because I'm just always reluctant to rate products a perfect five. It's my skeptic's nature, I always suspect something even better is out there. Though, after using Make Up Forever Face & Body Foundation, I'm basically ready to call my HG foundation search a day.
I ADORE the texture and consistency of this foundation. Admittedly, at first pump (also love the pump!) I was a little concerned; it is very thin and runny, but can be built up for denser coverage. Give it a couple minutes to dry completely and dust with a good powder, and you've got gorgeous dewy, yet very natural-looking skin, like your own skin but healthy and radiant.
I will say that wearing MUFE Face & Body has proved a little challenging in my warm, humid climate. Because the foundation is so dewy and moist, it can loosen a bit on the skin in the heat and come across looking unset; it definitely needs a little blotting/powdering as the day wears on. But for me that's forgiveable. The positive outweighs the negative here.
My color, 32, is just a bit too peachy for my yellow-undertone skin, but when I mix in a drop of Kett Hydro Foundation 03 or prime my skin with a little Kett Fixx Creme 03, the color becomes absolutely perfect. I set with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powder (I want to try the Kett Sett Powder next). I'm enamored with my own skin. Love, love, love.
