Review of Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose shampoo by MsLove
Excellent shampoo. No sulfates, no chemicals, and a heavenly smell. Cleans very well without stripping hair, and leaves it very very soft. Consistency is not as thick as the AO Blue Chammomile Shampoo, but not as watery as the Green Tea Clarifying Shampoo.
I almost didn't try this shampoo because I saw a lot of negative reviews here. Luckily I checked other places too, and figured I would take a chance and worst case return since Aubrey stands by their name. No need! I LOVE it! I love how soft and bouncy my hair is after washing. I love the smell and rich lather I get without sulfates with just a dime sized amount. And my husband loves the smell in my hair, not overpowering but very feminine, fresh, sweet, and sexy.
I have used Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner consistently, every month without interruption, for over 5 years now. And it NEVER fails to perform. So I expect nothing less from the Shampoo...why did I wait so long to try it? Silly me. To think of all the money I dropped on packaging from Kerastase, Phyto, Kenra, etc...all of which have good shampoos, but become overpriced in the big picture.
I will continue to use this product, believe it is an excellent value for the quality, and love how the line has transformed my hair. I will alternate between AO HSR Shampoo/Conditioner ($10 each/$20 set) and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Shampoo/Conditioner ($3 each/ $6 set) for my interests in a modified CG-method.
