Review of Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose shampoo by glagodmos
I confess that I don't love everything about this shampoo, but I did notice a definite improvement in my hair once I'd been using it for a week or two. (Previous to this, I have used both cheaper drug-store brands like L'Oreal Vive Pro and higher end salon brands like Bumble&Bumble.) I have thick, wavy-almost-curly, coarse and dry hair that tends to be very fluffy, and not in a good way. This shampoo (and conditioner, I used them both together) left my hair soft, shiny, supple, and much more manageable. I even needed to use less styling products to keep it in check.
Cons: very liquidy texture, doesn't lather well in my thick hair, very strong fragrance (I like the smell, I just don't like how strong it is, no matter how natural). I'll be honest, the hair-washing process is not as much fun without a luscious lather. :)
Pros: no SLS so it's very gentle, lots of moisturizing ingredients, left my hair noticeably more attractive and manageable, truly natural/organic shampoo. The end result is definitely worth the drawbacks.
