Review of Reviva Rosewater Facial Spray by KittySkyfish
I think this is one of the better facial refresher sprays on the market. It's inexpensive, moisturizing and contains ingredients that benefit the skin. It contains distilled rosewater, aloe, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid (for moisture retention) and minerals. It has a definite rose scent - well it should - its primary ingredient IS rosewater. However, there are no artificial fragrances. I have dry skin and I find it does a great job at refreshing my makeup. Dry-skinned readers - you know how your makeup can look parched and dull midday? This really, really helps fix that and it instantly brings a glow back to my makeup and skin. It also helps to set powder-based makeup after application and to bring back glow.
I've compared this against Evian's Brumisateur facial spray (white metal canister with pink lid) and this is much more hydrating, at the expense of adding lingering ingredients. I think the Evian would be best for someone that wants something more like water to mist their complexion - something that doesn't leave much of a trace afterwards. This, in comparison, acts more like a skin care toner by how the ingredients leave a lingering trace of moisture and scent.
Price: $6.80 for 8 oz.
