Awesome. Why pay hundreds for a T3 when you can spend $24.99 for the Revlon Tourmaline Ionic? I was very skeptical before getting this dryer. I mean, Tourmaline? Ionic? I thought it was all hype. But upon first use, I was a believer. Now that I've used it a few times, I'm a complete convert!! It dries my hair in half the time as my "regular" dryer and it DRAMATICALLY reduces frizz. I have shoulder length, baby fine, naturally curly hair that seriously wants to frizz if left on its own. I never pull my hair straight to dry it because I love my curls... but what I don't love is the frizz. Even drying my hair with NO product, this dryer leaves me with minimal frizz. And if I use a frizz control product, I get no frizz at all.. just beautifully soft, defined curls. I have nothing but good things to say about this dryer. I love the fact that it comes with the diffuser included!
If you're on the fence about Ionic and/or Tourmaline dryers, jump off and pick up the Revlon Model RV544 Tourmaline Ionic Hairdryer. For $24.99 what have ya got to lose?
I picked mine up at Rite Aid though I did see it at Ulta and it's available online at amazon.com as well. I would repurchase :)
11/25/06 ETA: I have now purchased and used the T3 Evolution dryer to see the comparison. The T3 Evolution costs 12x more than the Revlon... and I can't say it's 12x better. The T3 Evolution is quieter... but it is not 12x quieter than the Revlon. The T3 Evolution is lighter than the Revlon but it's not 12x lighter. People constantly talk about how much lighter the T3 is however the T3 Evolution weighs only 1 ounce less than the Revlon ... a difference that is truly negligible when using a dryer (and yes, I did pull out my digital postal scale to check the weights of each dryer!). In fact, I find the T3 Evolution to be a really nice dryer but it is not 12x better than the Revlon though it costs 12x more. It takes me longer to blow dry my thin, naturally curly hair to straight using the T3 Evolution. For the price of the T3 Evolution, you can buy 12 Revlon's... that means if you buy the Revlon and it breaks, you can buy it again 11 more times before you've paid the same amount you would for a T3 Evolution. I'm glad I bought the T3 Evolution to see what the hype was all about. The T3 Evolution is not worth the extra money and I can now say that based on my personal experience.
