I tried this as a face and hair moisturizer last night and it worked great! I feel like I am doing something really good for my skin and hair by using this. My face was easily moisturized with a small amount, but I used too much and it made me a little greasy. Even though, I was happy to see that it absorbed into my skin nicely shortly thereafter. My skin looks pretty good today even though I didn't use it today. My hair was moisturized after applying this after washing. I smell a very faint coconut smell but nothing too cloying. Smells yummy actually. I purchased the Garden of Life brand from Vitamin Shoppe and feel like I spent too much at $11. Will repurchase but for cheaper somewhere else.

Update: Okay I have been using this for a few days and I am not sure if it is due to the weather or due to using coconut oil, but my facial skin is SUPER DRY. I thought coconut oil was supposed to prevent dry skin? What's going on?

Update Again: Okay yeah, it has to be the coconut oil that is DRYING my skin out. I stopped using it and my skin is getting better. I was actually getting painful cracks in my facial skin. That's how much it dried me out. So those with dry skin be careful regardless of what these reviews say. I really wish it had worked for me but it just didn't. Works fine on my hair though.
