The price? Not bad at all. I didn't give it a 5 because there are cheaper drugstore foundations out there, & although I do strongly believe that high-end products are better than drugstore for sure (some people don't believe it), I couldn't give it a 5 for that reason (for price). Packaging... it's okay. It's just a glass container, and towards the end all you have to do is leave it flipped upside down. Plus, you can also buy a little pump for pretty cheap at MAC if you'd rather have a pump on the container. But because it is glass, you're always going to have some leftover that you never got to even touch. So 4 for that. Here's the real rating: 3. Because it does make your face look flawless and amazing. Except sometimes in pictures it's totally obvious that you're wearing a thick mask for a face. But honestly; it did look good and flawless for a long time - just don't go in the sun 'cause you look like you're wearing a mask. Here's another thing: it's made for runways. MAC is a company used for runways, not everyday wear. My face isn't horrible when it comes to breakouts. It isn't even that bad, but what I didn't realize when I was using MAC Studio Fix Fluid (NC30, if you care) was that it's so thick it could make you breakout. I had a few little breakouts on my cheeks, but I really didn't realize that this foundation was the cause of it. Now, I jump around with my products a lot. I like trying out all kind of brands. I have tried out so many brands : Clinique, Chanel, Prescriptives, Bare Minerals, Pur Minerals, LORAC, MAC, and a few more I don't remember. I went to Sephora to get a new brand of foundation, which is LORAC now. its LORAC natural foundation which has no parabens, fragrance, or oil. I thought the lady at Sephora (who was a LORAC representative) was BS'ing me when she said, "What foundation do you use?" (I said MAC) She said, "Which one?" (I said Studio Fix Fluid). She said, "I knew that's what you were going to say. People who use that foundation get breakouts in your pattern." I really thought she was BS'ing me. But after much research, it turns out that she was right. I give this foundation a 3 because majority of the people purchasing foundation from MAC are not going on the runway. And now that I've been using LORAC for a while, my skin is totally clear again. No little bumps on the sides of my face. I can assure you that it was MAC because I did use it for quite a while - half a year?. And now I've been using LORAC for about two months and the breakouts are totally gone, and I have absolutely clear skin again. I'm not saying this goes for everyone. Maybe you were blessed with the amazing genes (that I totally envy) and have clear skin no matter what. You may not breakout with MAC, but I did, and in the same pattern that many others broke out in. For the instant, amazing look of the moment it gets a few points but for everyday use, it gets points off. I give it a 3.
