Review of Cover FX Cover Fx - Powder Fx by Lilymae
It's good for specific use: as a "secondary layer" or "touch-up." This goes over whatever other foundation I'm using to be the "camoflauge" to mask skin issues. It does a wonderful job of evening out skintone: I have Rosacea, subtypes 2 (moderate) & 4 (mild). Unfortunately, I'm so oily that it separates and doesn't wear long-term well.
My skin is normally oily in the T-zone but in flareup, goes to the extreme in dryness, including flaking in the T-zone -- even on eyelids. I do not use this product on a daily basis. I feel a bit squeamish about the talc in it.
I wear E0 (I'm a very pale yellow-peach tone -- not counting papules) and it looks okay when first applied but separates and turns shimmery.
I've had good luck blotting with a damp paper towel and following with a dry one, then reapplying but if repeated more than once, it builds and looks cakey. I don't suggest oily folks to use this since it separates or builds up with reapplication. If you're not oily, it does a nice job of evening tone.
