Review of MAC Satin Taupe by maandusa
i can't believe i haven't reviewed this already!
Satin Taupe is my Holy Grail of eyeshadows. i'm pale, with cool/blue undertones, green eyes, and medium neutral blonde hair.
Satin Taupe has just enough plum in it to enhance my green eyes without being obviously purple (i adore purple to bring out my green, but this is more sophisticated, for work and whatnot). it's perfect for a smokey look on us pale girls (too-dark smokey eyes make me look like i am a heroin addict with a black eye!).
it's just the absolute BEST daytime neutral shade for me.
the ways i wear Satin Taupe:
- all over as a light wash
- with Mystery or Smut as a liner (lightly, not smokey)
- in the crease, outer corner, and smudged into my lower lashes, with Vex on the lid and browbone
