Review of Christian Dior Dolce Vita by condesadepitimini
Beautiful bottle, and that's almost it.
It was such a disappointment, back in the 90's after the two latest Diors (Dune in 1991 & Tendre Poison in 1992) that were a joy to me.
Dolce vita was created in 1995 and that's when I started hating the new trend in Dior Fragrances.
Soo sweet... the magnolia smashes you in the face (though I like white florals, Magnolia is a note I cannot stand) and the candy/peachy note make is definitely unbearable to me. Plus the sweet/spicy aspect... revolting.
It has a spicy drydown, but I swear I could never resist until the drydown... each time I wanted to give it a chance & spritzed it I had to wash it off immediately (basically I received samples, and quite often: they all found their way to the trash bin).
I also has people around me that urged me to do so, they said it was a pest. (probably it does not go well with my chemistry)
To me, the worst fragrance Dior has ever created.
