I have weird Asian eyes, with a little bit of lid, and definitely no lower lid, so anytime I'd wear eyeliner (which, incidentally is everyday), I would constantly have to run my fingers underneath my eyes to rub away the run-off mascara/liner. Then a friend recommended this product to me, since she has very oily lids, and she, I, and Primer Potion have been BFFs ever since. It is the only product I feel that actually keeps my shadows looking fresh. Even on days when I wear only mascara, I apply a little bit of PP to my lash lines (yes, top and bottom), and it keeps the lashes from drooping (somehow...this is weird, I know), and even acts as a sort of eye brightener. I've never felt the color of the primer has ever affected the pigment of my shadows.
The only drawback is the container...so awkward. You can't really see how much product you're really getting. But a VERY helpful tip, courtesy of the aforementioned chum: When you're almost out of the product, if you remove the rubber stopper from the top of the bottle, you'll find enough product to last you probably another month or so. It takes a lot, and I mean A LOT, of work (I broke two nails and definitely considered calling Betty Ford to see if they accepted makeup junkies), but it is definitely worth it.
