So I was at the cosmetics counter at Nordstrom buying eye shadow. I applied some of the tester lotion that was sitting there and then I continued to shop. I found myself continually bringing my hands up to my nose, the scent was so nice. Finally I went back to the counter and said, “I must have this stuff!” So I bought a big bottle of Philosophy's Amazing Grace. Well, here it is a month later and now I can’t stand the stuff. It’s too strong. And I really enjoy perfumed stuff (shampoo, cleansing gel, even face moisturizer), but this is overboard. I did receive a compliment while I was wearing it, but now it just gives me a headache. And don't accidentally get it in your mouth or eyes - BLECK! and BURN! As for its moisturizing effectiveness, I'd say "eh." I have dry skin and I don't notice any moisturizing at all. It's almost as if they've created simply a perfume in lotion form. As far as the "firming" aspect of it, I say "puh ha!" Maybe that's why it doesn't moisturize that well, because they're concentrating too hard on making it a "firming emulsion" which it also does not do. I'd return this stuff if I could - and I know Nordstrom would take it back because they take back anything - but I don't want to be That Girl who returns a 3/4 full bottle of lotion. So now I'm stuck with it. Too bad I don't swap anymore.
