Review of Revlon Frost & Glow Highlighting Kit by jtizzly

I've used this several times. Yes, the cap can be tricky at first. Like several others, I recommend using a metal hook from Sally's to pull your hair through--it'll save loads of time!

The best thing about this Frost & Glow is definitely the results. Your hair might look really scary and yellow before you wash the bleach out, but trust me, it will blend in. I used this kit to blend in some really horrible chunky highlights that a new stylist gave me and the results looked like a professional had done them! The kit is also really easy to use, since you don't really have to measure out developer, color, etc.

The worst thing is that the stuff tends to be very damaging. This may just be because my hair is in pretty fragile condition, but I left it on for 40 minutes to make sure there was no brassiness--some of the highlighted bits felt gummy and strands would snap right off! So I definitely wouldn't advise using this if your hair is extremely damaged and/or fine like mine.

Overall, I will use this once my hair is in better condition, but it's definitely too harsh for fragile hair.
