5/10/08 Update: If you like this, QVC has it available in 32 oz for about $45 including shipping- that brings it down to drugstore price range. I bought the monster size and it will last me forever. Occasionally I'll feel like it's irritating and switch to something else, but I so far have come back to it, especially when I'm wearing a lot of makeup or Shiseido sunscreen. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW: To my surprise, this actually doesn't irritate my skin. It's fragranced, has lots of botanicals (which would be irritating), and has a rather obnoxious marketing scheme (some blah blah blah about coming into the world pure). When I first tried this out at the tail end of the winter season, it was too drying for me (but EVERYTHING was too drying for me last winter). Now that the weather is hot and humid, however, it's just the right bit of drying & moisturizing- after washing, my skin is smooth and a not-too-clean tight that keeps my moisturizer and ss from becoming super greasy by midday. I don't see the need for the scents in the product, however, as it seems that they don't break me out, I do kinda find it pleasantly scented. It's not cheap, seems to be lasting a decent amount of time, but this would definitely count as one of the more expensive items on my shelf.
