Review of Perricone Face Finishing Moisturizer by sillysilly

I received a generous sample in Sephora's Pink Bag promotion. I was afraid at first (because it's so expensive- $50 for a jar about twice the size of the sample) when I really liked the way this medium-weight lotion felt- it really sinks in wonderfully and doesn't make my skin greasy at all (I'm acne-prone, dry but oily skin<- if that makes sense to anyone). The rosy smell was a little strong, but it doesn't stay for long. It doesn't sting, not even around the eyes. My skin was very dry from using Retin-A, and this did a good job of moisturizing it. HOWEVER, while I very rarely have allergic reactions to ingredients, I must be allergic to something in this- after a couple days, I had tiny itchy red bumps (not pimples) around my eyes. Plus, I broke out on my cheeks, which hasn't happened since I started medication- I had gotten my acne to just be on my forehead. So now I'm trying to get my skin to recover, hoping I won't scar too badly on my cheeks. I gave the sample to my mom- she noticed that's it's very well absorbed/non-greasy too- hopefully it's not going to bother her skin like it does mine.
