This is a white powder, but is oh-so-fine and goes on translucent. I'm tanned & have an olive complexion and it works for me. This powder mattifies oily bits of the faces and "sets" makeup well, and the rose scent is heavenly! I love this and I apply it with a big fluffy powder brush.
