Review of Unlisted Brand Vicky Tiel "Sirene" by dolcevita
Sirene is so hot. This is not a natural-smelling perfume at all, but its chemical quality makes it what it is in an interesting way. The EDP is strong so I don't need much--a full spray is too much sometimes, so just a touch is perfect. It grew on me; in the beginning, I felt it was "too loud" (of course, a diva's not usually quiet). Now that I know how to wear it, I'm taken by the sweet orange flower-sandalwood-soft vanilla-sharply aldehydic potion. I once described Sirene as a "rainy day perfume" on another board as the imagery spoke to me at the time; the image of the deep dark water from which the siren comes to lure men to their deaths with their siren songs makes me want to wear it through a thunder storm. It's an intense fragrance and not for everyone.
Oh, and what a gorgeous bottle!
