Age: 30-35 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown

I really enjoy this product! It is thin and liquidy with light but buildable coverage and a satin finish on my dry skin. There's a very faint neutral scent that is not heavy or bothersome and a very slight silicone slip to this product. --------------------------- SHADE MATCH --- I am around NC20 (slightly lighter) with heavy yellow undertones. In Colorstay, I wear 150 Buff which is a tiny bit too light but is the correct undertone. I wanted to purchase this product in 120 Vanilla but my store was sold out so I purchased a shade darker in 130 Shell. Although Shell looked very dark in the bottle, it actually applies much lighter and is a fairly close match although slightly darker than I'd prefer. I might buy the lighter shade and mix the two. --------------------------- MY SKIN TYPE --- I have dry skin that is generally even-toned except for moderate redness at the cheeks and mild scarring or hyperpigmentation here and there. Finding a foundation that covers it without looking cakey nor emphasizing dry patches is very difficult. I usually opt for lighter coverage products that are buildable to two coats (e.g. Asian BB creams, tinted moisturizers or a light foundation such as Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum). --------------------------- COVERAGE --- This product works very well to even my skin tone and cover problem areas while allowing my natural skin to show through. It really doesn't look like I have anything on at all because it covers while giving the appearance of leaving the areas that are perfectly fine alone. If you only need mild to moderate coverage, this product is perfect! It is definitely not for those who like a heavy coverage. --------------------------- TEXTURE & FINISH --- Generally, I dab products around my face, tap it in with my fingers, and then tap a second layer on problem areas such as my cheeks and scars. Colorstay is too thick and dries too quickly for this method. This product works perfectly because it's very liquidy and thin but not so thin that dabbing it around my face would cause the product to drip. I hate a heavy silicone feel to my base makeup and although there is a slight silicone slip as I apply this, it's not thick or bothersome and I don't feel it on my face once the product is applied. It really feels like skin. It is nicely buildable to two layers. It could be built beyond two but you won't get any better coverage so I don't recommend doing it since it will take a long time to set so many layers. --------------------------- LASTING POWER: It does take a while to set (5 minutes for 1 layer and 10 minutes for 2) but it will set without powder which is a huge plus for me. It doesn't last quite all day the way a long-lasting foundation would but it lasts so much better than BB creams or tinted moisturizers. About 5 hours without powder. --------------------------- OVERALL: So far, I really like this product for when I want something that has slightly better coverage and lasts longer than a BB cream. I think it's really perfect for those who don't like or don't need foundation on a daily basis. I have very dry skin and this works very nicely (drier gals having trouble might not have enough moisturizer beforehand). It has almost no scent and gives a satin finish. If you normally go for tinted moisturizers or BB creams, you'll really love this. It's very reasonably priced and with a sale, it's even better!
