I was hearing about these just about everywhere online, so I was hoping to find the bright orange one to try. At Target, all of them were sold out EXCEPT this one :). There were two left & I was so excited, I didn't care if anyone saw my happy dance at the front of the aisle. ANYWAYS. I wanted the orange one mainly because I heard how these beauties don't crease at all, plus, I've been looking for an orange base to use under my concealer. I know it sounds kinda nuts if you aren't familiar with it. But if you look it up. there's a lot out there about color correcting under the eyes. So I used it VERY lightly under my concealer. There are teeny teeny tiny bits of shimmer but its hardly noticeable in my opinion & you won't see it at all after you've put your regular concealer. CONCLUSION: the texture is great, the color is great, the staying power is great, and the lack of creasing is fantastic. I don't own any paint pots so I can't compare for you. But IF I ever run out one day, I am definitely repurchasing. I may even buy the other colors (I'm not even a much of an eyeshadow wearer *gasps*) GO GET IT NOW
UPDATE: So after a little over a year of using this here & there, I have found that it really dries up even though I store it upside down. Since it is a bit dry, the texture is definitely grittier & I can no longer use it under my eyes anymore. ( If you want a good color corrector I would recommend Graftobian's color corrector in Soft Orange, it's the best I've tried in getting rid of the bluish/purple under my eyes.) I still use this product, & I make sure to warm it up with my fingertips a bit, because I do still love using it as a base for eyeshadows. Yes, I wear eyeshadow now heheh.
