The display was so cute that I couldn't stop myself from buying this gloss, and I'm glad I did because I love it!
I bought Baby Blossom, a very light milky pink. I was expecting a very sheer color, but this is "milky", meaning it does actually give a light pink color making your lips look pale/nude. Now, becuase I am very fair skinned I was a little irritated by this initally because I don't want to look totally washed out. But, I have come to love it anyways - I just layer it over a bright pink, or save it for when I wear dark eye makeup to set it off. I wouldn't recommend this alone if you are fair skinned. Also, this color really accentuates lip imperfections (flakes, etc.) I'm not sure if it's this color or if they all do that.
The formula is very moisturizing and has a really good staying power. It's very creamy. It does take a few seconds to "melt" into your lips, but once it does it looks very natural and feels greats. It feels very creamy when you apply it - not watery and it's certainly not sticky at all, which is a major plus! It has a very light vanilla-y scent which actually smells/taste delicious. Probably one of the best smelling glosses I own.
The packaging is very expensive looking. I love the long slender tube with the gold accents - I have heard that this wears off quickly (a big pet peeve of mine), but I haven't noticed any wear yet. Fingers crossed.
Bottom line: This is a gloss that looks like you paid $20 for, when in reality it only costs about $6. Great formula, good staying power - can't wait to try other colors!
