Review of Cover Girl Lash Perfection Volumizing Mascara by taralynn36
I bought this because they offer it in brown and I like to wear brown mascara when I don't like a full blown makeup look. I'm relatively fair and I have light blonde hair and my eyelashes are pretty much pale blonde. Pale blonde enough that you can't even see them without mascara.
The brown version is pretty dark. It looks brown on the tube but it pulls a lot darker on the lashes. It's really a brown-black, not a brown. It's spot on colorwise as my out on the town Glam Brown (which is brownish black if you read on the back cover) in Maybelline Colossal. I used to use Lash Blast Fusion in brown and I love that color. It was perfect for an everyday look.
Colorwise aside, I found this to be an okay mascara. I highly prefer Maybelline Colossal, NYX Doll Eyes, or Avon SuperShock to this one. I like C.G. Fusion over this as well. This gets a little clumpy on me after 1 coat. It does give my nice length and a little volume but I just think there are better mascaras out there.
